Great staff,room quiet,large,comfortable.Location right near US 4. The only issue $33 dollar parking fee. I may have missed this fee.but I thought very steep for self parking.

My room was excellent and everything was in good shape. Everything in the room was very clean. The checkin was a bit long to wait only 3 people for 30 to 40 persons waiting. The pool, spa and Starbucks were excellent. Was there a breakfast buffet available? Not sure 🤔 I did not see it advertised. The parking 🅿️ had some issues with entering and exiting. The Hotel should have transportation to Universal without the drama of the “ticket desk”. Seriously it’s so close to the park. I would stay again

Excellent pool and a decent fitness facility. Good on-site dining options and a very convenient on-site laundromat. Very close to Universal Studios and appreciably close to Disney Springs and other theme parks, as well as the airport.

I’ve stayed at this property a few times over the years and things were okay…but this last stay was a letdown. Our room was not ready upon check-in time which is frustrating when you have evening plans. The front desk never mentioned fees, check-out times, etc. which although I was aware from reading information online- I heard being shared by other front desk staff and I know sharing that is the norm when they run our credit card and check ID. We waited in the lobby next to the front desk for an hour waiting for a text to let us know our room would be ready so we could get back in line to get our keys. We approached the desk to check on the status…to find that the room was ready and they hadn’t sent a text. (They never offered cookies which I know sounds ridiculous to mention…but it’s Doubletree and they are known for the cookies. Lol). Our second floor room had a view of the many air handlers on the conference area rooftop. There was mold and mildew covering the entire window. The door to the room didn’t close securely, so you could see the hallway and elevator area through the door’s cracks around the door frame when it was closed. There was no hot water for the shower and a hairnet was found in the dresser drawer. The positive for the property is the location to Universal. Although we didn’t use valet, it was clear that he was working hard and had a welcoming demeanor toward all guests.
