The place was filthy
It's a great location. Beach was beautiful. When we checked in the lady at front desk was very nice and personable. However, the cleaning of the room was deplorable. The floor was filthy, toothpaste in the sink, hair in the sink and tub. Something on the back of the toilet and on the mirror. We spent 45mins cleaning and sanitizing. There is mold or mildew all on the ceiling. I reported it all to the front desk on check out. She said, oh no thats not good. They obviously don’t care. They allow dogs and the dogs pooped on beach. Which that part is out of their control. Just aggravating. Management needs to get the cleaning under control. It was so disgusting. Luckily we never travel without cleaning products.

Will definitely stay again.
Have stayed here several times. Love that it is right on the beach and you can park your vehicle on the beach right in front of the hotel. The AC worked GREAT! However, one of the elevators was out of order until the last day we were there. The working elevator was very slow. Ended up using the stairs more often (to the 5th floor).

Said I would have a full kitchen I did have a kitchen I had no pots pans utensils I had one Fork I'm too small pants I wanted to catch him so I could cook my lobster and crab. That required a trip to the store because when I went to the front desk to address the situation around 5:00 I was told housekeeping was gone and basically it sucks that I got that room. Front desk certainly didn't care

It was in a decent area, it’s a good area on the beach. only down side is if you want to walk to any stores it is quite a hike and the area is not the best to be alone in. It was a nice room, but the pull out sofa bed was broken, nobody told us and i even asked and all i got was a “we will ask maintenance” and nobody touched it. the last day at check out they said that they are aware it was broken, it would have been nice to be able to use it as either a couch or a bed since there was 3 of us in there.

Check-in was very slow with many standing in line with only one service person. The property is older and the attention to general cleanliness in common areas was lacking. Water dripping from A/C vents in hallways left floors wet and slippery. One elevator was out of service leaving long waits for the one working elevator. Pool towels were not readily available near pool so had to go to front desk for them. Bathroom vent did not work. The location right on the beach is great but not quite what we anticipated for a “very good” property.

Worth the money
Overall it was a great experience. Usually when you book an inexpensive room you get what you pay for. But I was very happy with the cleanliness and the staff. It is a little older property but has been maintained very well.

Nice place to stay that wasn’t outrageous to afford. Cleaning staff made sure we were taken care of every day. Only complaint I had was that there were 2 elevators but one was down the whole week. And sometimes we would have to wait 5-10 minutes for the elevator because we were on the eighth floor and not as young as we used to be

The staff in all areas of the property were very nice and professional. The gals that run the little cafe are usually left alone to run the front of the restaurant and they do a fantastic job, however they could probably use some support. The downside to the whole place is the actual state of the rooms and furniture. It’s clean from the housekeeping but without changing out dirty, old mattresses or fixing the ceiling from leaks, which is not their fault…it’s definitely in need up a remodel.
