"An excellent hotel with an expansive view of the Mississippi River. There was a bit of noise, primarily from the doors of other rooms. I wish the doors had dampeners on them. Otherwise this was a most enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which I appreciated. The AC was very quiet and effective. "

"My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. It was the perfect location! Everything is walkable or easy access to the street car. The charm of the hotel is unmatchable and the staff is friendly & informative. Our only non 5 star thing is the water takes forever to heat so our showers were just warm. But! It makes sense since the hotel is so old and it was definitely not a deal breaker."

"The staff was very accommodating. The restaurant in the lobby did take a very long time for service, however it was a a busy Friday night. The Starbucks and convenience store inside the hotel were great!"
