"I booked based off *site rating not guest reviews. This is not a 5 star resort; it is between average and above average. I had ended up reading quite a few horrible reviews after booking and was pretty upset. Do not be mislead, it’s not a dump. It’s clean, but a dated design. The elevators, hallways, and guest rooms reflect this. Again, the room was CLEAN and comfortable. It was ocean view; above the pool deck. Pool deck plays loud music at night, but I was unbothered with a sleeping pill and early retirement. GREAT location, one-ish block from the main walking strip and Waikiki beach. Kai Coffee is a must; and Lulu’s down the road is AMAZING! Location alone is 15/10. I declined the ECO-option so my to was cleaned daily and fresh linens provided daily. No issues. I would stay again for the cost. "

"We stayed at the Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort for one night on a long layover, and their hospitality made the experience amazing. They had a room ready early, so we were able to check in - which was so needed after an overnight flight from Japan. We ate dinner at the Hula Grill - which was wonderful - and relaxed on the beach. The next day we were able to store our bags with the bellmen, still use towels at the beach, and use the hospitality room to shower before heading to the airport again. This post check-out hospitality really made our trip easy and wonderful. "
