Lovely location
Generally a Lovely stay at Ocean Key. Room spacious and well presented. Only downside was two days of drilling from the floor below us which we were not told about beforehand. Apparently (according to the bellman) the front desk is being relocated and some interior walls were being knocked down. Would have gone on longer but we have left .

Room was very nice, but for the price it should of been. The best part of the property was the location to Mallory Square and downtown area. The property needs to be more well marked and change the numeral address because zero did not register on Map Quest and we spent an hour trying to find the place.

Ocean Key was very nice. I feel that some amenities should have been included for the premium cost that was paid. Bottle of water in the room, $8. Leave your car in their lot, $50/day. Mini bar, forget about it. With that being said, I would STILL probably stay here again! Super convenient location and amazing restaurants!

Amazing Location, but they rest on it.
Overall this is a really nice resort. There were a few small things. 1. The second elevator to our room was broken our entire stay and the working elevator had no air conditioning, making the long wait in and for the elevator either a sweltering experience, or one of waiting in an oven. 2. If you room faces Mallory Square and you ARENT fond of Cuban Folk Music, you will not enjoy your balcony at night. 3. They have a really great bartender at the pool, but they also make her run the orders, so she is about half of what she could be.

Paid for an Ocean view room but was given a room on the second floor with overgrown palm trees blocking the view. All we could see was the parking lot below us. When I asked to be moved, I was told that they did not have any other rooms and they would check the next day for me if someone checked out. No one followed through on that a day later we were woken up with chainsaws cutting down the palm fronds. Door lock broke on our fourth day and maintenance could not fix it because they did not know how to.

This is the third time we have stayed at Ocean Key and we continue to love it. Great property and walkable to whatever dining and entertainment you enjoy. We celebrated our anniversary at Hot Tin Roof and it was a very special evening with exceptional food and service.
