Pretty good, but not awesome
Okay, but not great. Was there for a conference at the fontainblueu, so convenient for that. Good access to the beach, and reasonable priced stay. But not very glamorous or prestigious, and pool wasn’t heated. Service was just okay. Would have been a better experience to Miami Beach if we stayed at a swankier place I think. Location was convenient enough (5-10 min walk to CVS, Walgreens, Dunkin’ donuts, etc. but better amenities in south beach (though likely at a higher price). Beach was awesome though, and nice that they set up complimentary loungers and umbrellas - loved the beach!!

Holiday Inn knows how to do this
I’ve stayed here many times. Not fancy or trendy, but clean and well-managed. I had a hot water problem that was quickly resolved. The staff of the breakfast restaurant is unfailingly cheerful and a delight every morning. I’ll likely stay here again next year for the art fairs in early December.

The coffee machine and phone didn’t work. They replaced the coffee maker. The phone doesn’t work because reception and room service leave their phone out of cradle according to staff. Bathroom is too smal to move no place to turn around between sink and toilet. It’s unsafe by design. Room floor was never swept or vacuumed during our 3 nights stay. They charge 25 for breakfast for the same items that is free in other Holiday Inns. The only thing good is it’s on the beach.

I liked that the property did not have a lot of noise in the surrounding areas. There was noise near my room at times with slamming doors, but overall it was peaceful. And the cleaning staff was pleasant. But what I enjoyed most of all was being able to walk straight from the property to the beach. There was also a walk trail which I enjoyed as well. I would stay here again.

We especially appreciated the kitchen service conveniently locate in the first floor lobby Although the staff was conscientious and efficient and the facility was clean and well maintained, we were really frustrated at checkin-in because Expedia had not transmitted our payment of $400 toward our stay. We were tired when we checked in. Though desk staff greeted us, , and did his best, Expedia had sent the wrong information about our payment making for complications. This problem could have been avoided if it was still possible to make one call to Holiday Inn and arrange our accommodations directly.
