About this property

Entire place

You'll have the entire apartment to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Central apartment with a private terrace! 15 min. walk to the Malecon

The apartment is just a few minutes away (15 min walk) from the Malecon and it is highly convenient for families and friends that want to visit and stay in a typical Mexican neighbourhood. Although outside of downtown Malecon, but still close, It has the benefits of being centrally located without the disadvantage of the noisy congested tourist streets.

You are also able to walk to the nearest beach. Only 4 blocks away (10 mins). Once you are in this beach area, you can walk south or north and decide where to take the sun! Many Beach Clubs are located around the area. Also many spots which are free and public.

Our lovely small apartment also has a nice view of the mountain side. Aside from this, you would be perfectly located near some of the best seafood restaurants that only locals know, like "Ocho Tostadas" and "Los Cuetos"!

The space

The apartment has 2 bedrooms: Queen and Full size beds with wardrobes and closets. Sheets and linens are provided for our guests are all times. We do count as well with and Iron board and an Iron in order for our guests to look even better ;) AC is only located in one of the rooms, the main room. The second room has no AC but a roof ventilator. The second AC is located in the living room.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has all the necessary basic tools for our guests to cook. Sometimes part of our guests leave behind essential ingredients such as pepper, salt, honey, etc. Everything you find in the apartment is free to be used. Most of what is there has been provided by us. If we see that something can be re used, in optimal conditions and without damaging any hygiene factors, we let it there for other guests to continue using. We don’t like wasting spices or essentials. It is of course optional if you want to use them or not, however the possibility is given.

The Living room has a Smart TV so you can keep on watching your favourite series on Netflix when you've walked the whole day. Additional speakers are included to make your movies sound better. A comfortable couch is also available which can make room for 4-5 people at all times. A centre table is also available in order to eat and place snacks while watching a movie after a long day.

The Terrace, which is located on the third floor, has the same width and length as the apartment itself. It is quite spacious and decorated with flowers to make It even more pleasant for our guests. A table is being delivered in order for guests to be able to eat there at whatever time they want and enjoy the sun and mountain view. Located in the corner of the terrace there is a small water tank (really typical Mexican), where you can wash your clothes and then hang them. This no machine, its like a pillar where people scrub the clothes clean and wash them.

Guest access

As it is a private apartment, you have a private access and will be able to enjoy all two floors of it. 2nd floor is the apartment and 3rd floor is the terrace, where you can enjoy the sun in the included chairs. BBQ is also a possibility or making a reunion with friends you might have or recently know in Puerto Vallarta.

Interaction with guests

We are more than happy to start a new wonderful tradition and experience with you, which is why we are available at any moment for you. As soon as we deliver you the keys, we will explain the basics and the area for a better understanding of how to get around and back to the apartment. We always give you and your guests the privacy you need. A good point is that we live really close from where the apartment is located. This gives us the possibility of always being in close contact for any questions.

For a better response time, me and my daughter will be available to resolve and answer any questions you might encounter during your stay.

Ultimately, we want to make you feel like home. "Mi casa es su casa".

Happy campers
3 AC units and bedrooms were comfortable and quiet except for outside noise which was Mexican normal. Bathroom is miniscule but worked for us. Patio is up a flight of narrow stairs and was never used by us. Neighbourhood is very non-touristy but everything including malecon is a 10 min. walk. Netflix was included but no cable TV. Would stay again.

The real PV
Nice quiet property in a non touristy neighborhood with good taco & seafood restaurants in walking distance. Also a couple of Oxxo convenience stores nearby.

Great House - Not a tourist neighborhood
We came in low season after Covid, so a lot of places to eat were closed. I loved the place. No problems at all. Quiet for sleeping. Easy walk to downtown. We had a car, so we always drove to the nicer beaches. If you are new to PV realize that downtown is for tourists and party people. The beaches just outside of town are where you meet the tranquility.

Great Location, Clean and Comfortable, Fantastic help/communication
We stayed in Puerto Vallerta in the beginning of January and it was unseasonably warm (85F most of the time). Condo is decently sized with two good sized bedrooms. Main condo has a mini split air conditioner and the bigger bedroom has one as well. The second bedroom can get a little warm/stuffy and its tough to get the air conditioning into that room. A small $5 box fan would fix this easily, and I've recommended this to the host. Really the host's daughter Karla is what makes this place stand out. She is super responsive and accommodating on Whatsapp. She speaks excellent English and is 1st class all the way around. Location is decent. Its only a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, and a 30 minute walk from the Malecon. We enjoyed walking, but we also Ubered if it was late at night or we were running late. Ubers are only $1.50-$2.00 USD at this time, so a really good way to get around. There is great street food around this apt. Some of this street food was better than the high priced meals we splurged on. I highly recommend checking out some of the "wet" tacos and other taco carts that spring up within blocks of this apt. Overall the quality was better here, than in downtown. The terrace is extremely nice and comfortable. I highly recommend making some coffee and spending a couple mornings on the terrace. Nights can be a little difficult with mosquitos, so buy/bring some bug spray and take your chances. We got eaten alive one night, and didn't want to risk it the rest of the trip. Recommendations from the host were mostly spot on. Local breakfast place was very good and charming, Barracuda is a great place to drink/eat on the beach, smoked fish from Rio Grande, Tacos al pastor (near Barracuda) was excellent. We didn't try the sushi place or the seafood burrito place. The only big miss for us was Lagostina. Its very touristy and overly expensive for subpar overcooked lobster/seafood with subpar service. Outside of the host recommendations we had good luck with Gaby's, River Cafe and Taco Memo. Margarita grill has pretty tasty margaritas and good atmosphere, but the food was so-so. We were unimpressed by "El Arrayan". We were unable to try Cafe des Artists as they don't allow kids. Last suggestion would be to visit a charming art shop called Olinalá. Authentic mexican art, very cool.
