Property is aging, some crumbs on the bedsheet, chairs were dirty, limited variety for breakfast, no kid friendly English channels on TV. Should consider labelling as a motel. Bed was comfortable and showers had adequate pressure. Didn’t experience any issues with staff or didn’t feel unsafe.

Half Star Hotel
Not a fancy place. The good: decent location, the room was clean, has a pool and offers a breakfast. The bad: room was so hot (August) because they never turned on air conditionner before we arrived even though I booked well in advance. Even when I turned on the AC for hours, the room still didn't cool enough to have a comfortable sleep. The hallways in the hotel were very hot and stuffy as well. Rugs are old and stained and the stairs were not vaccumed. The room was in rough condition (you can see damage on the bathroom door and drywall patch jobs. Shower sucked and the beds were uncomfortable. The pool was good, but they don't offer towels in the pool area. I needed my room towel for my shower the next day, so I had to request a towel at reception. There was gum on one of the beach chairs and a white substance all over the floor. Ew. Breakfast in the morning was lack luster. Coffee, toast, croissants, chocolate muffins, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, oranges, cereal. Many things were not refilled so I got very little to eat. In summary, I stay at 2 star hotels all of the time and they are luxury compared to this place. When renting a room, I have realistic expectations: a comfortable bed, a decent shower and cleanliness. This hotel room failed to deliver. I'd give it a half star. I won't return.

The staff at the check in on Aug 9 between 7 to 7:30 pm was rude. He is impatient. When we were filling the form, he rushed us and said "Just need your signature, I don't need your license plate information" and when my husband signed, he used his sarcastic voice said "well, that is not where you should sign". He only give us one room card and said there wasn't enough card for each customer. It was bad because you need the room card to access the breakfast room and the whole family had to go together since we only had one card. It is a bad experience. We have a few family travel together, he also ignored the questions when the other people asked him.

There was a toe nail on the floor near the bed when we arrived, the top sheet on our bed was stained. I asked for the sheet to be changed and nothing was done. The floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in forever. The pool was also dirty. There was all kinds of things on the bottom of the pool.

Option pour le français? Well!
L'hôtel est plus au moins propre. L'accueil est terne et les escaliers sont sales. Le quartier est pauvre. On doit toujours entrer à l'hôtel par l'accueil (sécurité). Bon petit déjeuner mais il fait chaud dans la pièce. Le monsieur responsable du déjeuner manque de sourire. ( P'tit boss) Chambre sont corrects. Aucun ascenseur pour le 2e étage (handicap) Hôtel désuet qui a besoin de beaucoup d'amour. Je n'y retournerai pas.
