The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is a bit dated, but was well taken care of and clean. There are waterfront walking paths just steps away which we loved. Very convenient location to the Can-US bridge, restaurants, and shopping as well. Because it is pet friendly we did notice barking when walking the halls, but thankfully not when we were in our room.

I loved that they accepted pets, and how clean everything was considering pets were alloud. The fee for having a pet was very reasonable and i loved that there was a little area that we could easily bring our pet outside for her needs

Our go-to pet-friendly hotel in Sault Ste Marie.
Have been coming to the Sleep Inn every summer for the past few years during our annual trip across Ontario. During our most recent visit, I had minor concerns about the cleanliness of the room (sticky remote control for TV; toilet seat looked dirty). My allergies were also quite bad overnight, possibly due to lingering pet dander. Of course, I had requested a pet-friendly room, so allergies may be unavoidable. That said, the Sleep Inn is far cleaner than any other pet friendly hotel in the area (and I’ve stayed at a few!). Other than the above issues, our stay was comfortable and uneventful. Will probably be back next year!

Great pet-friendly hotel.
We have stayed at this hotel every summer for the last few years. Front desk staff is very friendly and efficient at check-in. Our dog found a dog toy left behind by a previous guest; the TV remote control buttons were sticky and gross; the toilet looked dirty. Nothing major on its own, but altogether made me feel like the room wasn’t as thoroughly cleaned as I would have liked. That said, the Sleep Inn is consistently in better condition than other pet friendly hotels in the area.

Good value for a relatively inexpensive hotel. Front-desk staff were very friendly. It would be nice to have a full sit-down restaurant or cafe for breakfast where one could order something like bacon and eggs. There is a small nook just off the main lobby that is used for buffet breakfasts. This is fine as far as it goes and the food is reasonably good - waffles, scrambled eggs, toast, cereal, yogurt, coffee & juice. I guess this is the way of the world now.
