One must remember this hotel was built in 1902. With that in mind, one will appreciate the hotel. They have wine/champagne 5-7 nightly and coffe & tea in the mornings. Plus, there is a cooler of fruit-infused ice water in the lobby that was so refreshing as well as the availability to bottled water and ice in the lobby any time. There is a large veranda and lobby,
The staff were helpful, always available, friendly and professional.
Everything was very clean! The room is small as well as the bathroom and there are few outlets, so a multi charger would be an advantage.
We would stay there again (even though we usually stay at resorts).
We walked to the museums, the marina and restaurants every day. Parking is precious, so come early.
We had breakfast at the sister hotel next door, The Hollander, each morning. The Salmon Eggs Benedict were to die for. The staff were friendly there and the pool was beautiful and clean. They offer poolside yoga and a massage/spa is on the premises.
