The room was so dated and so dark. I needed to use my phone flashlight to see in my suitcase. We had an upgraded room with a balcony. The balcony looks at a wall! The bathroom was old. The floors in the room were painted poured concrete. The room furniture was dated as well. We finally asked for additional lamps which helped with the lighting. The pool is dated- don’t expect a view or any water feature. I don’t remember if there is a hot tub. We paid the bar tenders in cash for our drinks at the rooftop bar and they pocketed the money. Literally- we watched the cash go into their pockets- twice. It’s such a shame to have an excellent location like Mayfair and to have it be so dated. I’ll never stay there again. The sheets were great though.

The property is stunning and it is like stepping back in time. The experience or checking in and our is smooth. They offer many activites and multiple restaurants on site. The location is perfect.

We have stayed at the Mayfair about a half dozen times since it has reopened. We love coconut grove and the Mayfair provides very large updated clean rooms. We enjoy using the pool and love how walkable the area is to dining and shopping. Will continue to return every year!

Sliding door in the room was left open before I checked in so the room was full of mosquitos. Bed had giant crater on right side from overuse. No breakfast room service and lunch and dinner options very limited. Staff never cared to open a door or help with luggage. Poor water pressure, bad lighting in room. Could be special but my 4 nights there were unenjoyable.

Mayfair was awesome, highly recommend! Coco Grove is beautiful & fun. Gave service 3 stars because bike rentals took forever, chrome cast streaming on TV wasn’t working & staff slow to address issues. Otherwise amazing stay!

The architecture is spectacular. It’s such a unique hotel with the open courtyard with all the plants and water. With the welcoming staff, excellent food and location this hotel is truly a delight!
