Blacksmith Lodge (a 2250-square-foot unit) is one of the most luxurious properties on the mountain with features such as heated slate floors, private deck with eight-person hot tub, a fully-equipped gourmet kitchen, a great room with gas fireplace and panoramic views of Big White and the Monashee Mountains.

There are two spacious bedrooms on the upper level, both with ensuite bathrooms with luxurious rain showers. The master also boasts a warm and inviting gas fireplace. The third bedroom, on the lower level, has a single/twin bunkbed, and the lower family room offers a very comfortable queen size pull out couch. These sleeping quarters share a bathroom with bath/shower.

The main floor living room is elegantly finished with rustic hardwood floors, deep couches, fireplace, and a full entertainment center, while the lower level family room features a large couch plus chair, armoire with TV, VCR, Sony PlayStation, and a number of board games - IDEAL FOR KIDS!

Trails less than ten steps out the back door provide among the best Ski-In/Ski-Out access on the mountain. The lodge is located only a few minutes from both the Village Centre and Happy Valley Gondola base, which hosts several skating rinks, an inner tube park, plus a number of other activities.

A private heated garage, offers a comfortable, convenient, and warm change area, complete with benches, racks, and hooks for gear and clothing.

To keep up with your e-mails, we have provided free high-speed wireless internet access for our guests.

Big White Ski Resort is Canada's largest ski-in/ski-out resort with an average snowfall of 25 feet of 'champagne powder' snow. It has 118 designated trails, 27 unnamed trails, and lots of pristine skiing in the powder bowls and tree glades; 18% of the runs are beginner, 56% intermediate, and 26% expert.

We have put a great deal of thought in making the lodge as cozy and comfortable as possible, to ensure our guests will have a wonderful, worry-free holiday!

This property has a great location on the hill, very good ski in/ski out. I had my 3 adult kids and their partners with room for all. Well stalked kitchen and generous bedrooms. The only issue for the weekend was the weather, but that you cannot order!

Aloha We had another beautiful, stay up at big white.. a large part to do with Greg and Lisa’s place… it well-stocked kitchen plenty of space to congregate as a family or maybe sneak away to have a little naps… we had our granddaughter with us this year for the first time, they provided us with baby gates, high chairs, and playpen so helpful.. also plenty of space for our snowboard and ski gear in the garage. That is heated. Can’t say enough about the private Jacuzzi used daily . .. lots of towels on hand … mahalo Nam’s

Great Space for a Ski in Ski out week.
We had a great stay, loved the two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and separate bedroom and bathroom in the basement. The living space and kitchen had great space for hanging out, playing games and relaxing. We loved that they had a pantry for our food💜 Also great closet and dresser space. Perfect Family Vacation
We arrived on Sunday February 6 and stayed until Saturday February 12. The property was as advertised, well laid out and clean. Gregg and Lisa, the property owners, were in contact with us several times before our arrival to ensure a quick and easy check in. Gregg called us the evening we arrived to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We had an amazing stay, the ski school was fantastic for our kids (ages 5, 5, and 7) and the property location was perfect. It’s a true ski in/ski out, with quick access to either the gondola or Plaza Chair. We were extremely comfortable staying here and would absolutely recommend this property to friends and family. Beautiful chalet for a family stay
This was our best rental yet in 5 years of renting at Big White! It was very clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed, the beds were very comfortable and the linens and towels were very good quality. We especially appreciated the heated garage and built in benches and hooks for all of our gear. That space made it very easy to keep the chalet clean and clutter free. We were a family of 6 adults and one infant, and the spacious layout of this chalet made it easy for everyone to have the space they needed. The fact that there are 3 full bathrooms also contributed to our comfort. Gregg was very quick to respond to messages and showed a genuine interest in making our stay enjoyable! We will be back!

Perfect condo for extended family

We love going to big white and now we have found a great place to stay when we go. Gregg was quick to reply to any questions we had. Check in was easy. The garage was great! Lots of room for all our gear, even with our SUV parked inside. The unit was well appointed. The hot tub was amazing at the end of the ski day. Big high ceilings throughout with great views of the sunrise. The beds were super comfortable. This was one of our favourite places to stay. Steve
