Such a fun a fun and beautiful place to visit. Not a lot of restaurants around but the pub at the hotel was excellent. Rooms are well designed. Loved that they gave us 2 comfy robes and sandals to wear to the heated outdoor pool and hot tub. Very relaxing. Loved the big jetted tub, fireplace and view of the bay too. Would definitely visit this resort again. Maybe in the summer next time since it rained on us a lot.

Limited parking with confusing entrance to lobby. Access to rooms is outdoor like a motel. Back door didn’t lock. We were told dining room was reservation only. They did have sushi menu by request only that was good.

Overall the stay was 5out of 5. The only issue was lack of restaurants in the area. There were a couple but their odd hours, closed on Monday and Tuesday and 3:00 on other days.

We spent our anniversary here, and the building’s beauty is undeniable. However, I have mixed feelings about the overall experience, particularly regarding value for price. The biggest issue was parking. We had to drive around for quite a while to find a spot, as the parking seemed to be shared with pub diners and wedding guests (there was a wedding on our second night). Without designated parking for overnight guests, returning after a day out made finding a space a challenge. Service was inconsistent. While the staff was friendly and even left us a lovely note and treat for our anniversary, we waited over half an hour at an empty desk before checking in. Soaking wet from the rain, this was quite frustrating. Dining in the lounge also involved longer waits than expected, though the view was a redeeming factor. On our second day, we weren’t informed about a wedding event, and the lounge was closed off. This left us uncomfortable using the hot tub, which was visible to the wedding guests, disappointing our plans for relaxation. The room itself was great, with a lovely fireplace, smart TV, and beautiful balcony view. However, the jetted tub was cramped—my partner (6'2") and I (5') struggled to fit, and the jets were loud, making conversation impossible. If we sought a getaway from the city again, we might consider this place, but we’d approach it with caution after our experience.
