We love staying at the Pocaterra Inn, this is our second time staying there now. We make annual trips to Canmore and we will forever stay here in the future. This year was our 1 year engagement anniversary and they were able to put us in the same room as last year (upon request) and were very accomodating. The breakfast is yummy, staff is extremely friendly, and the amenities are great. Rooms are always very clean and beds are very comfy, the deluxe king suite is the way to go. Thank you Pocaterra Inn for another fantastic stay!

Entering the hotel: There are 3 wheelchair accessible parking stalls, with two of them marked. However, don’t expect to use them because people without the placards park in them. It is not possible to access the sloped ramp in the wheelchair accessible stalls, because they are on the drivers side and the vehicle blocks any access for the wheelchair user to use the ramp. Only one entrance offers automatic door opening (the back of the hotel), which is very unfortunate. Wheelchair accessible room: The room itself, is large and roomy. There is enough space to maneuver. The pillows are extremely hard. Bathroom: There is a tub, with hand rails and detachable shower head. Unfortunately, the tub is NOT a roll in, which can cause difficulties getting into the tub. The shower chair has no backing to it. The ramp leading into the bathroom, is a bit tough to get a manual wheelchair over, which is ridiculous. Breakfast room: Very crowded with tables. There’s only two tables that wheelchair users can use. Pool, hot tub and sauna: The sauna is the only thing accessible. Big thumbs down Staff: Honestly, not a welcoming bunch. Needs work on their hospitality Overall, I would give this hotel 2.5/5 on accessibility for wheelchair or walking aid users. It needs a lot of work. The hotel itself, is outdated

The location was great. Very friendly staff that was quick to respond to our needs, such as extra towels and blankets. Would like to have gotten to enjoy the inside pool but ran out of time with other activities. Not enough days to fit everything we wanted in. The free breakfast was very good, a nice variety of choices. Loved the balcony with the mountain view having a fireplace in the room was also very nice and have to say it was very quiet. A very pleasant experience.
