We had no control over the heat, it was too warm to sleep and being rigjt next to the railway track we couldn't leave the window open. The building is run down and is in need of maintenance.

Stayed here 15 years ago as a child and today it was like nothing has changed! Same wood motif and mountain views, great gym for a hotel and even a game room that’s not advertised. Beauty rest mattresses meant for a great sleep. The only down side is you have to physically leave the building to get to the restaurant.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff were friendly, the beds comfy, and it is close to lots of dining options. We would stay here again.

The hotel and amenities were fine and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds need to be replaced especially as we booked a superior suite. They were full of lumps and bumps making it difficult to sleep and get comfortable. The location was having renovations done with machines and equipment in the parking lot making parking and leaving somewhat difficult especially as check in/check out was very busy. I’m not sure I can really fault the hotel for the sound of the train but do be aware you will hear the train at least once and hour all night.

This is a kid friendly property with excellent amenities for the whole family. The room was very clean and beds are comfy. A little l updating with the aesthetic and furniture of the room might be a good idea. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

Really enjoyed our stay at Chateau Canmore. It was clean, quiet, close to amenities, and attached to Chez Francois restaurant. Parking was easily accessible. The only criticism was that the front desk staff upon check in were not very friendly, however upon check out the staff member was lovely.
