Hot water pipes are very squeaky. The area is quite noisey but Hotel is also located off the highway that runs thru Fernie. Excellent location.

Good location on the highway in Fernie. Breakfast was simple, but good. The hot tub is currently closed, which was disappointing, but we were able to go to the nearby Fernie Aquactic Center to get in a good swim. The staff were helpful and kind.

I usually love staying here but this time not so much. The parking lot was treacherously slippery. Not even plowed out at all making it a big bed of bumpy ice. I almost fell so many times trying to deal with my luggage. It would’ve been nice if they would’ve tried to sand it at least. We also only booked this place because of the hot tub. Apparently it’s been out of order for a while now. They should definitely take that out of their amenities. I would’ve booked at the place down the street if I would’ve known this while booking. We also got asked if we could leave 2 hours earlier than the scheduled check out time. They wanted to cater to another family that was arriving earlier which is nice for them but very abrupt and inconvenient for us. We felt super rushed. Especially with the way that they banged on the door like they were the cops or an angry landlord.

Reasonably priced hotel for Fernie. Was pet friendly for a fee which is normal. Room was a bit dated but clean and the staff was friendly.

The Motel was nice, a couple things we heard the train and traffic through out the night and the hot was was out of service but the pool was nice and warm.

The room I booked they said that it’s not available over the site I used or that they don’t offer it, put me in a double queen room instead and wasn’t very nice The jacuzzi was not available to use, and there was lot of noise from other rooms, not very sound proof

Avoid unless your drunk or stoned
Run down hotel. Bedding and mattress with stain and holes. No bed side table, shaky toilet, driveway on ice, snow bank in front of the door and to go around to access the room with all the luggage. It has separate buildings from the main one. Came at a very quiet time, we placed in a building as far as possible from the main building. Front office clerk looked like he had not slept for days

We brought a foamy which saved us because the bed was very uncomfortable. The kitchen was useful and well stocked with utensels and plates. The sink was very small and made doing dishes hard. The room was alright, had the normal motel feel. However, the road noise and radiator noise kept us up a lot of the 5 nights we stayed. I choose elsewhere the next week and much prefered the other hotel in town.
