Great location. A stones throw from walking path on the Elk River. Can walk to anything you may need. Easy check in. Room was clean, quiet and perfect for me and my dog. We stayed in the building at the back. My only immediate concern was the grated steps up to the second floor but my lab flew up them once she realized they weren’t scary. If you have been to Fernie in the winter this is why they have the grated steps. Wish I could have stayed longer.

The exterior is deceiving; the rooms are actually pretty nice and clean. Simple breakfast was good. Would stay here again for the price compared to other hotels in town. Only downside was the lack of pillows.

Okay Stay

The woman who checked us in was quite brusque. The room was very worn, the bathroom especially around the tub was dirty. The walls are dirty. The hall outside the room was dirty - litter and stains. The bed was very good and the sheets and pillows were clean and free of odors.

Old building, requires alot of updating. Limited parking due to crew taking up alot of parking spaces. No water offered uless you wanted to pay for it. pool area dirty, no hot tub. Contential breakfast.. just muffins limited spaces to sit and enjoy. Easier to stop somewhere else.
