Great property and staff was accommodating. The only con is parking so plan ahead of time. Not the hotels fault since this is Gaslamp in general.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and the beds were comfy. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Very comfortable vibe and I liked the painted doors!

The staff at front desk was extremely helpful and welcoming. Although the room was small, it was very clean and tidy. Strongly recommend it.

Good but strong dog smell and noisy
The hotel was clean and a reasonable price for the location. My biggest problem was the hotel is dog friendly. And when they say dog friendly they mean it. The whole place has a distinct wet dog smell. Other than that it is very clean and relatively new. I am glad they allow the windows to open but unfortunately the area is very noisy. With the windows closed the air conditioner was excessively noisy. Either way I guess you can’t win. It was a nice touch that they give you a free drink for every day you are there. I would probably stay here again if I had to but will likely look elsewhere for my next trip.

My room was facing the Main Street, music was soooooo loud, bass was pounding way past midnight. I was only able to sleep 4 hours, then the loud trash pick up started at 5am. It was a horrible night. Staff were nice and room was clean.

This hotel has no parking and finding parking in downtown san diego can be very challenging if you dont plan ahead. It is very difficult to find on there site that they do not have parking, so we showed up without booking parking and made our weekend start off very poorly as we had to park 2.5 miles away and pay $50.
