It is a nice place to stay, for the location it is at. Rooms are not ultra high tech but very nicely maintained, well equipped, comfy, clean and quiet.

Check is was good. Clerk was friendly and professional. The room was very comfortable and generally clean (bathroom could have done with a good scrub). Room was quiet and beds were super comfy. The restaurant was open when we were there, but is apparently closed two days a week and there are limited options in Tumbler Ridge, so check it out before your go.

Stayed 2 nights and we had to move rooms our second night at 9 pm because of a plugged toilet that staff were unable to deal with or even provide a plunger. There was no one to assist me and my elderly mother with the move to another room. I was told the lady at front desk was alone so could not leave her desk. I found her demeanour very rude.

The hotel itself is beautiful, the front desk staff is great. However a three day we did not have service to the room any of the days even when you put the make up room sign on the door. I’m not sure if they are under staffed or what’s up? All the garbages were overflowing and that was unfortunate giving the price of the stay. Would definitely go back for the town and hiking.

I didn't like that there was no maid service over our 3 night stay. For over $200/night to make the beds and tidy up each day should be included. Continental breakfast was good.

Kitchenette is very small and poorly equipped, but I guess it's adequate. You wouldn't want to cook here very much. Also, the hotel is surrounded by parking lots on all sides and in the mornings big trucks idle for a while before driving off to work, so it can be loud around 7am or before. However, we were surprised by the continental breakfast, it was a bit better than expected.

Good Hotel
We stayed in a king suite which had a separate bedroom and kitchenette. The rooms were spacious and clean, the continental breakfast is enough to get you started in the morning. The staff are very friendly and helpful, good location to explore the area.

Great room but breakfast was a lunch bag letdown
My wife and I try to get to Tumbler Ridge at least once a year. We have stayed here before and the breakfast was good. My wife loves a hot breakfast with waffles. This year I had a choice between a queen bed and basic continental breakfast or a king bed suite with the full breakfast for a higher price. I opted for the latter. For me, thpe difference isn't between the beds. It's the difference made on a road trip with a happy contented partner. To our disappointment, there was no hot breakfast. The included breakfast was a basic continental breakfast one might expect from a roadside motel. Hard to believe that we paid the most for this room of all of the places we stayed on the trip.
