Pleasant stay in the centre of Montreal city
I stayed here three nights. I felt it was expensive but I didn’t really compare prices as I was more interested in being able to get around Montreal easily using public transport Hotel is well positioned , just a short walk from peel metro stop. The main rail station is around 15 minutes walk. Staff were very chatty , friendly and efficient on check in, quickly giving me my room which was on the 12th floor. There are 4 lifts and I rarely waited more than a minute for one to become free. My Room was a bit dated but everything was clean and bed was very comfortable. The view was ok too , looking towards the city. I had breakfast in the place too , a bit pricey but satisfactory. For other meals you have to go elsewhere but plenty of choices nearby. I recommend the Italian just down the road. Overall , top location , great staff and I can recommend without hesitation.

The beds were very hard and so were the pillows. They must have been at least a couple of years old and be noise from the outside of my room was horrible. I couldn't wait to go to my next hotel on my sojourn. The the white noise machine that I brought with me could not mask at all. This sound that was coming from the street below. It was pretty bad. This sleeping was horrible.

The staff at the hotel were very nice upon check-in, at check-out, and whenever we ran into them during our stay. The hotel itself, while it is nothing extraordinary and does not have many amenities, it is clean with very spacious rooms. We did not really mind the lack of other things offered (pool, gym, etc.) with how little time we actually spent in the hotel during our stay in Montreal. If you are looking for a place to stay that is affordable and right in the heart of the city near bus stops/metro station, this is a great option.
