The staff were nice, the room was clean. I just didn’t like the breakfast and when food finish they don’t put more food so you have to wake up really early to have something to eat.

35 min walk to Universal Studios. Looks safe - only hotels around us. Same walking distance to nearby shopping outlets. We had a 2 queen bed room for 2 of us which was big and well equipped with dishwasher, utensils, pans and cookware, microwave ,coffee machine and cooktop. However there are no food stores within walking distance except for walgreens which kind of renders them useless if you don't have a car like us. The breakfast was the same all 7 days we where there. It was clean but after the second night we found a hair left on purpose on the toilet bowl probably by the room maid. The towels and room was made every 2 nights which is great - but you can expect little surprises from the maid if you don't leave a tip immediately. Overall is very good hotel for the price. They also offer shuttle bus to universal but the schedule is strange and when it rains they don't bother to send extra buses so you can stay wet another hour to get eventually to the next bus.

I booked a room with double bed but it was a suite with kitchen with everything! Including all the appliances and cook wares! The best hotel that I’ve ever stayed! Make sure it’s your go to place every time you visit Orlando. They provide shuttle bus to universal studios a few times a day. Back and forth! Thank you Hyatt House!

Only concern I have is the service. I ask to get a light housekeeping after 2 days we checked in since it’s a party of 6,and especially the washroom. Didn’t get the service done apparently because there is a DND (Do not Disturb)I forgot to take in the door which is understandable but then they could have break it since I put in a request. Request again and this time put a full housekeeping request including changing the linens, we came back at night, same thing nothing has done but reception confirmed that I put a request for the second time. Appreciate that the MOD that night, August 21 made an effort to find someone ends around 9 pm to do an urgent linen change and light vacuuming but was is annoying the man came to do it throw some attitude and says “He is sent to do it but it’s not he’s job’” .I mean as a guest I find it so rude for him to say that. Understandable it’s not his job but say it to the manager you are working with not to the GUEST. So he try to make the guest feel bad that he was sent for the job that he is not supposed to do. I mean if there is a short of staff it’s not the guess problem but instead as a good quality service he should apologize and explain in a nice way.

The property was close to Universal and was quiet and well kept. Staff was helpful as well. Shawn at the front desk was always willing to help with transportation arrangements to the parks and the breakfast staff were pleasant. I only wish they had coffee 24 hrs and that the shuttle services had an earlier affternoon picknup like 3:30. But overall the Hyatt was a nice stay.
