Pool closed, ice machine not working. Doors to the rooms hard to open. Saw different guest having a hard time getting into the rooms so it wasn't just us. Breakfast setup was not good people backed up at the waffle area coffee was cold at times. The counter help go behind the wall and don't pay attention or hear people standing at the counter.

$55 to check in early? The room was clean and available, so why the upcharge? Desk staff was unfriendly and rude at check in, different staffer the next morning was helpful and friendly when the airport shuttle was nowhere to be found (called us a Lyft). Breakfast area and staff was great. Room was outdated and not the cleanest for the extra fee charged to check in early. Would not recommend, especially with ALL the other options in the immediate area.

Elevator out of order and our room was on third floor. Television in room didn't work, wifi did not work. Hot tub was freezing cold. Our bathtub water had a constant run, which also made the tub gross from water build up. The bathroom door could not close. Worst hotel stay ever.

This hotel wasn't great. One of the two elevators wasn't working which was very inconvenient. The one at the very far end of the building was the only one working so everyone had to use that one. The TV wasn't working in my room, but I couldn't call the front desk because the phone didn't work either. After making it all the way down to the desk to tell them about the tv, I was told to unplug one of the cables from the box, wait 5 minutes, and then plug it back it. If that didn't work, I was supposed to call the front desk, but I told them my phone didn't work. The cable thing did fix the tv, but clearly this was something they knew about ahead of time and haven't bothered to fix. They never bothered to follow up with me to check to see if it worked either. We picked this hotel for the location. There are several other hotels in the area. I would recommend any of the others.

As a fellow guest put it, it's a $50 hotel that cost over $200 with the taxes. Couldn't contact the desk to get the shuttle for 20 minutes, and only then because I called reservations and asked them to help. The elevator was broken, so had to carry our luggage up to the third floor, and back down the next morning. I had to hit the room door with my shoulder to get it to open because it didn't fit the casing. The bathroom ceiling was crumbling and had a hole in it. The air conditioner sounded like it was going to explode. It needs major maintenance and upgrading.

Very unclean! And in rough shape.

The service was great but once you leave the lobby you see the age of the hotel and the dirt on every surface. The room door had gaps all around it so you could see the light out into the hallway. The floors had white paint chips all over them and hair and old food crumbs. It was clear it hadnt been vacuumed or dusted. Bathtub had rust, mold and hair in it. There was also no hot water. Surprisingly the beds were clean although uncomfortable. I went to inform the staff at checkout and was advised leave your key if your checking out and back to the phone they went.

What a Disaster. First, an hour wait for a shuttle that did not arrive, finally the adjacent hotel to La Quinta, took us to hotel, there were 3 other couples in same predicament. When we arrived to check in, employee was just there to fill, no experience!! No drinks or snacks for purchase. WAIT, it gets better, when we go to our room, I noticed light coming thru the door,THERE WAS SOME ALREADY IN OUR ROOM!!!!!!!!!!! Pitifull managed property, Never again!!!!

First- all employees except the nasty, condescending Asst.Manager were wonderful and super helpful. We met several while we had to wait FOUR hours to check in, otherwise we had to pay an extra $55. The Asst Mgr told us upon arrival that our room was ready but had to pay extra to check in early. Mind you, we just returned from a cruise where we experienced a week of cold weather with warm weather clothes. There were six of us including my 3 yr old granddaughter and no transportation. We were only staying until 4 am until we had to go to the airport. He would not let us check in unless we paid, amongst some other condescending words. We witnessed a few arguments between guests and the mgr because he was argumentative and rude. After we checked in at 3 pm and ate a dinner we had delivered we decided to use the hot tub. The hot tub was warm but the jets did not work and after we got in it we noticed swarms of ants all around the rim and top side of it. We sat for 10 minutes and decided to get out. If you plan on using the pool outside don’t plan on sitting in the sun. The pool and hot tub sit in the shade the entire day. If you don’t need the pool or arrive after 3 pm, and don’t come across the nasty manager then this is your place. They offer a free airport shuttle too. If you are going to port canaveral you will need to pay for an uber or port go shuttle. Uber is cheaper. IHOP and Fridays restaurant are within walking distance. I will not stay at another LaQuinta.

GOOD STAY

My wife and I stayed here on our way to and from a cruise (Port Canaveral), from Delaware. Staff was very friendly and helpful. On our stay after the cruise we arrived before check-in time and they securely stored our luggage while we toured Orlando until check-in time. Airport shuttle was convenient as well. Just know that you HAVE to call for it and they will send it for you. Would stay there again.

Reasonably priced. A tired, well used building. Only one slow elevator, really? Shower drain worked yea, amazing! Shuttle did not go to terminal C which forced us to use taxi due to my wife's mobility issues. You might consider an exception for such situations! Room phone not operating, why have it at all? It would be simple to ask room service check for a dialtone!

The room was filthy. The dust on the furniture would tell how long the room didn't get service. There was a bug inside the shower, couldn't tell if it was a baby cockroach. The sign on the mirror of the bathroom announcing they change sheets and towels every 3 days was highly surprising for how busy this location was. Also, the white towels had a gray tint. The "market" or vending machines by the front desk were basically empty and prices are crazy expensive for a small bottle of water. No, I won't recommend this facility, it's very surprising and disappointing from a location so close to Orlando's airport and not particularly cheap. Special mention to the two wonderful ladies driving the shuttle. I wish I had the names, definitely they are doing their job above and beyond. I may be wrong, but one could be Trisha, a black lady who also attended the front desk. Other than that, a hotel to scratch from the coming back list.
