"Our first time staying at Porto Allegro and we were pleasantly surprised at what a nice time we had. The property is simple but super clean and staff friendly and helpful. The property is close enough to the Cuale river, island, Malecon and several nice restaurants. The breakfasts provided were a good choice and service was friendly and we were happy. "

"When we checked in to our room we were very disappointed with the condition of our room. In the morning we went to the front desk to voice or concern and they were very happy to upgrade our room to a newly renovated room. Once we switched rooms we were very happy and the condition of the new room was great. This made a world of difference. "

"Property was a little dated and hard to get reservations at the restaurants but the buffet was good always a taxi to take you where you wanna go right downtown close to shopping and restaurants in walking distance..staff very friendly has a heated pool."

The pools were clean, lots of activities and again great recreation staff. The food was high quality, as always recommend eating the local dishes, the traditional breakfast so so good, fresh masa quesadillas were to die for."
