The Hyatt is definitely one of the best places to stay in PG. It's modern, well designed with much better than average quality kitchenette suites. The rooms aren't large, but are very efficiently designed to maximize the functionality of the space you do have. The gym is high quality and stands in contrast to most hotel gyms. There are a few minor points I would offer as feedback. For the kitchenettes, the only cookware is coated with forever chemicals (ie. Teflon). Esp. for pots and pans this makes no sense given what we know about this chemicals. Stainless steel would be a much better choice for durability and guest health. The area around the hotel is... ok. There is no decent grocery store within walking distance. The closest is a Buy Low Foods which can be a treacherous walk in the winter with snow and ice on the uncleared sidewalks.

It’s close to many restaurants and public transportation stops. There is a big public pool right in front of the hotel. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful when I requested a playpen for my baby after I arrived. The breakfast during the week days has more options, really enjoyed the omelette on Friday and it was not available Saturday and Sunday. Did a bit of exploring around and saw many unhouse people but didn’t feel unsafe. Overall I think the hotel is great and will definitely stay again on my next visit to Prince George.

I will be back! Beds super comfy, breakfast was great. Restaurant didn’t have a ton of variety but prices were good and tasty! Nice gym. Downtown PG is sketchy but there didn’t seem to be any issues in and around the property.

Alright stay, needs some tweaking.
At check in I felt rushed and like my concerns weren’t being considered. The beds were too soft to be comfortable, unsupportive. The room was still lit up a bit at night, needs improvement with black out blinds or curtains. Main disappointment was the rooms do not include a microwave…! Most people expect to take leftovers back to their rooms after dinner etc, or to be able to heat up a drink or something. Glad they had Starbucks coffee available in the lobby, but wished they would also provide that brand directly in the rooms with the coffee machine. Lighting in the rooms was decent, nice mirror light feature in the washrooms.
