The Hotel is not a 5 star hotel as promoted the rooms were dirty and with mold, pools were dirty and old needed to be resurfaced. We found unsafe areas for kids or even adults for that matter with missing rails on balconies and broken glass. And I found two pieces of hard plastic items inside my soup in El Pescador Restaurant. I complained about every single item I just listed and absolutely nothing was done the only thing I was told was that they were going to report it to management however no one came to addressed any of my complaints during my stay of 6 days which I regret taking my family there in the first place.

I felt the majority of staff way here to sell you time shares and boy did they try pushing the time share on you. I felt the hotel was under staff, for restaurant and entertainment. The chair in the pool are horrible there so use that when you sit down or lay on them your body is almost touching the floor. There was absolutely nothing special or unique about the entertainment shows, every night it was at a different time no consistency. This was my first and last stay at Park Royal Puerto Vallarta

Grand Park Royal has it all. A beautiful hotel situated on a semi-private beach, with beautiful rooms overlooking the Pacific Ocean. I loved my stay here! I stayed 11 nights with my boyfriend and we loved it! The only minor complaints we had were that the wifi wasn’t the best ( which is no big deal) and some of the food at the specialty restaurants weren’t great but still good. Overall we loved being able to use the rooftop pool and lounge area the most. You could find us up there almost every day of our trip playing cards or reading and relaxing in the pool. I would recommend Grand Park Royal to anyone looking to come to PV

I apparently was given concierge service. But there was really no follow through with it. The person that was assigned to me, took my number, but never reached out to me. tried contacting the front desk several times But no one ever answered the phone . The best customer service I received was from Alonso- Who was in charge of entertainment. He did take the time to sit and talk and get to know me, which I appreciated.. he asked how my stay was going and what I enjoyed about it. If anything made the trip worth it, it was his attentiveness. Otherwise the room was great. The property was well kept.

We did not have any issues during our stay. It was a bit far from the Malecon but we were actually not looking for the night life. We usually book adults only resorts so I was leary about all the noise we were going to have to hear and it wasn’t bad at all. I read reviews that the food was terrible and I’m a little picky but I really enjoyed the food. Our room was perfect. I would definitely return.

Concierge is so focused on selling you the timeshare that he didn't care about the multiple issues during our stay. It is a shame that such a beautiful beach and decent amenities suffer from such a bad service. Check-in took almost an hour and another hour to get the room ready, too many people at front desk doing nothing. The hotel rules are not clear on Expedia listing, like the pool hours and the all-inclusive restaurant options that have limited seating. The pool, gym, beach are kept in very good condition, but rooms, balconies, and the restaurants need improvement like working air conditioning and no ceiling leaks (rainy season). The hotel is located 40 to 60 mins from Airport and Malecón.
