This hostel wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. First off, the hostel was a little difficult to find, since it is on a hilly street where cars cannot drive up. After finding it, we went to check in where the staff tried to convince us to upgrade to one of their best rooms for a slight price increase. They were persistent but we declined. I mean, we're only there to sleep, really. The hostel itself felt very empty and there were nights where it felt like we were the only guests. It was slightly eerie. The wifi signal was nearly non-existent if you stay in any of the lower rooms facing towards the street. The private double-bed room was small, but it did have AC so that was a big plus!
One thing that really irked me about the staff/how they run their operation was that when I tried to check out a day earlier than what I booked they told me that they couldn't refund/reduce the price. I would have to pay for all 5 days even if I only stayed for 4. They claimed it was because I booked through Expedia, and Expedia charges them fee's. However, when I booked on Expedia I didn't make any payments or deposit on the actual website. They got their deposit through Paypal. Very sketchy.
Other then that, it was an OK stay.
