This is an indescribable gem. A historic structure with more personality than any other place I have stayed. It’s a trip within a trip and a world of its own. I will not forget this place.

And Red Rock Inn checks every box and added new ones. You and Lecy have created a one-of-a-kind Inn. It’s like meeting with old friends. Thank you for sharing your place and times with me. So much history at The Red Rock Inn. Fabulous continental breakfast with Don's famous strong coffee. Beautiful rooms and generous sized washrooms. Loved talking with Don as I enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch with a view of the lake and marina. Will be back.

A month in Canada and RRI was the strangest stay, but a really good strange. Like stepping back in time, its the one overnight stay that I will remember the most and remember fondly.

The property had at one housed guards for a pow camp and at other times it had housed workers for nearby mines and mills. Its has also been visited by famous musicians such as Neil Young and the Guess Who.

Property is incredibly unique. Facility built in 1937 and used as an army base. Hotel is full of antiques & memorabilia. Retro rooms available. Truly a “step back in time”. Very eclectic. Lovely view of the lake and nice breakfast.

This property could be a real gem with a bit more work, including some weeding and some paint. The inside is a step back in time with the whole place full of antiques and memorabilia. Don, the owner/manager is friendly and knowledgeable on everything inside. Continental breakfast was more than adequate with fruit, juice, yogurt and many different kinds of homemade sweet breads. The breakfast attendant was super friendly, and also gave us travel ideas. There is no AC, but open windows with the harbor in sight, made for comfortable sleeping. A quirky place, but you are made to feel welcomed like family.

You might find a more modern inn in the area but you can’t find one that has more charm. If you can allow yourself to fully appreciate this beautiful inn and its history then you will enjoy your stay. Don has interesting stories and facts that make this stay very unlike any regular hotel stays.
