Great location, loads of charm, lovely breakfast

We had a lovely stay in this historic building in a wonderful ensuite room on the ground floor. The whole place was decorated with grace and charm and the people were very friendly and helpful. It is in a great location with the historic area of St Augustine completely within walking distance and it seemed like there is parking for every room.

Our second stay

This was our second stay at the Carriage Way Inn and we enjoyed it almost as much as our first stay. It's under new management and they are all very friendly and polite and attended to all of our needs. The only change we don't like is that the guests from their sister inn a few houses down the street all come over for breakfast. It gets very busy now in the mornings and if you rent any of the downstairs rooms you will get a ot of noise from 7:30am to about 10:30am and since they moved in more tables guests will be eating right infront of your room especially the Ruby room. Really dont like the fact guests looking into your bedroom when you try to get out to eat. We heard that they plan to move the whole breakfast to their sister inn but that beats the purpose of a bed and breakfast under one roof. Who wants to walk down the street to eat your breakfast and especially when its raining or cold. They should keep it separately like it was in the past. Still we had a wonderful stay and will definitely return and hope the owners are changing their mind with these changes. Parking is included and you are right in the historical part of the town. All within walking distance. No car needed. Thanks again for a wonderful vacation!

The staff was so helpful and the rooms delightful! Coffee, tea, cookies, wine, sodas and water were available in the main house at all time for guests. The location in the old town was perfect for strolling down all the small streets. No lack of restaurants for all tastes.

The Carriage Way Inn is conveniently located, but the accommodations were not worth $300 per night. The room was too small, not well maintained, hvac did not work, TV was difficult to operate and we were disturbed by other guests talking and yelling until after midnight. Overall, I would avoid this Inn.

We recently spent New Year's Eve at the Carriage Way Inn and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The inn itself is steeped in history, which added a unique charm to our experience. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We especially appreciated the delicious and varied breakfast served each morning. While our room offered a convenient location, it unfortunately faced both roadways. As light sleepers, we did find the noise from revelers throughout the night to be somewhat disruptive. Despite this minor challenge, we highly recommend the Carriage Way Inn. The overall experience was fantastic, and we would gladly return in the future.
