Great location for Stratford Festival theatre. Had some concerns because peewee age hockey teams were at same hotel. Fortunately, they have been quiet. It would be nice to know ahead of time if there are such events or at least be able to request rooms distant from those shared by groups that are potentially noisy.

Lovely stay
I had a great stay and will return. This visit I didn't use the amenities but there are a few. The only downfall to my trip was there no way to check in an hour early or check out late.

Room needed a sofa. Loved the Kuerig coffee machine. Nice size frig. Did NOT like the noisy fan that automatically turned on with the bathroom lights. Large tub - almost too big!

Nice visit, a little slow checking in, maybe the young lady at the desk was new. Comfortable room. Window facing south and only sheers no drapes. No mircowave in the room.

A nice addition to the stay at Stratford
The staff was exceptionally helpful on our arrival and departure which, given our ages, was much appreciated. The facility in general was immaculate and pleasant. The restaurant service was not as pleasant as we might have hoped and the food was uneven, mine fairly good and my partner's not-so-much. Overall, however, it was a positive stay.

The room was very nice. My only comment would be that the toilets are too short and I’m not a tall woman. This was more of an issue for my friends because they both have mobility issues. As far as dining goes our waitress was very good. However 2 of us ordered the avocado toast and were very disappointed. It didn’t present well and the avocado spread was very thin and not tasty. It was not what either of us had expected,

Very nice hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. Nice TV. Had dinner and lunch at restaurant and both were very good.

Terrible and worse than anything - they don’t care. I am STILL waiting for manager to call me. Rooms are old and mediocre and the location is the worst for walking around festival. They charge your room 200 security deposit so you end up paying double 200 and you have to wait over a week for money to be returned (still waiting). They are so rude there and they had several mistakes on their end (we had wrong dates booked, wrong number of rooms etc and I made sure to verify where mistake happened and was on their end). Many family members keys stopped working and so many of us in lobby at 2 am getting new keys, and the person at desk was bothered by us saying now she has to reboot the system. Old and rundown and the service is too. I stayed at hotel julie and it was amazing. Mercer is great too, so many other and more convenient options - will never stay there again (not that they care, again, never even called me back to resolve this so I am left with simply a review).

Very inconvenient stay. Many of us had issues with our room keys and had to be downstairs in the early morning to get them replaced with staff that was unconcerned. They take a huge deposit for the rooms that takes a while to clear from your card. Probably better off staying elsewhere.

Walkable to the Festival Theatre. Not convenient to the downtown area. This is an average BW hotel, which is both good and bad. Reasonably priced, but don't expect anything special. A place to sleep between play days
