rooms were very musty smelling, obviously had not been used in a while Complained and were given rooms in their Quality suites (their property next door)

Both this property and the adjacent Quality Inn & Conference Centre are disasters. There's no signage for the Festival Courtyard Inn, and we drove around the pothole-filled parking lot looking for the reception area. We finally found what looked like an office for the Conference Centre and were told that we could check in there, but were warned that both the restaurant and the bar were "temporarily" closed. When we got to our room, we were shocked by the condition of the windows, which needed a lot more than a new coat of paint - more like total replacement, as the wood was obviously rotting. Inside, the room was a huge disappointment, looking NOTHING like any of the rooms displayed online. The only furniture was the bed, one night table, and a dresser, but there was a huge empty space by the window. The bedspread was badly stained, as were the threadbare towels. The 2 soaps that were provided were more like tokens than bars. The bathroom mirror (the only mirror in the room) had water and, um, other marks all over it, and there was a big handprint clearly visible on the TV screen. I understand that the Conference Centre is being "renovated" - there were signs of construction activity here and there - but it appeared to me that it would be faster and easier just to demolish the entire property and rebuild. The once-proud Festival Inn, where I stayed many times in better times, is now a sad eyesore, and I would never spend another night at the Festival Courtyard Inn.

Festival Court Review
The signage for the office was nonexistent so we drove around the building to try to find it. In order to get into our room, we had to walk around a huge weed that was jutting out into the sidewalk. The bathroom door could not close. There was no recycling container. The shower door needed cleaning. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable and the fridge and coffeemaker were very good! We were happy to see and use the USB port.

Room is very musty. Need to air it out / get rid of carpet. No heater in bed area can’t open front window. Bathroom had been upgraded. So looks like they’re working on things. No staff in the front area (sign said away for 10 minutes but not what time they left) but computers were on and paperwork left out in the open . Not good for privacy. Then both staff came back same time well after ten minutes.

We stayed a whole week but did not get any room service until we complained 2 days in a row (that was the 4th and 5th day). We kept getting promises of clean towels/linens but nothing happened until the morning of the 6th day. The setting was quiet. We do not plan to use this facility again due to the lack of response on the part of the staff and condition of the facility.

Very disappointed in the quality of the hotel considering the price per night. The toilet was black and had looked like it had never been cleaned. The water was leaking in the bathroom so the floor was constantly wet. The entire room smelt like mold and cigarettes. There were dead flies all over the room. The door frame looked like it had been kicked in before so the door didn’t close properly creating an unsafe environment. Stay away and find somewhere else.

The place is in a bit of chaos. It's unclear where the Quality Inn ends and Festival In begins. The rooms are motel style. The bathroom is newly renovated. Otherwise everything is old and seriously run down. The floor has soft spots and holes under the worn out cigarette burned carpet.

No expectations - but they have a pool
When you can find a hotel room for under one hundred dollars, we came with no expectations. We came for the theatre and just needed a place to sleep before travelling home. It wasn't fancy. We found out the next day there is an indoor pool we could have used, but that was not on the list of amenities.

Had to go back 3 times to get a new room. First room key did not work in the door, second room we went to hadnt been cleaned from the previous people, third room was hot and stuffy took a long time for ac to actually cool the room.
