Great spot, but only complaint. Stupid ROKU, tv streaming service, only. No tv fir live sports or any regular channel. Having to sign in to watch anything was a reason for choosing somewhere else. Should have been listed in the adverising.

The hotel is beautiful and well kept. The rooms are comfortable and clean and it's perfectly situated walking distance from anything you might need. The staff is excellent! Very helpful and nice. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!

Loved the chocolates in the room, snacks in the lobby, and drinks in the room fridge. Breakfast outside the door in the morning. Great location. I’d definitely stay again. Mattress could use upgrading. Overall was very nice experience for the money.

Room looked NOTHING like the photo. It was shabby, layout was uncomfortably small and tight. After flushing the toilet, you had to wait to have enough water pressure for the shower.

Cute place... needs upgrades.
Cute place... needs upgrades. Bed sagged in the middle and wasn't very comfortable. Fireplace wouldn't shut off completely, and kept the room uncomfortably warm when it was 22C outside, so we had to run the air conditioning which didn't feel very eco-friendly. Breakfast box is a muffin, stale croissant and a mandarin orange, which was disappointing, but there are tons of cafes down the street. Staff were responsive via text messages.

The actual rooms were quaint but shabby for the price. Very disappointing. The photos of the rooms on the HoCo Hotel own website suggested a distinct charm, good space and upgraded traditional decor. Both rooms we had were well below that look.

The service was over-the-top. All the extra things like a stocked refrigerator, the morning breakfast box, the pre-check in and post checkout contacts were greatly appreciated and helpful. Will definitely stay here again next time in Stratford.
