Nice property. Too bad they installed cheap shower and bathroom fixtures. Difficult to operate. There seemed to be a group that rented several rooms surrounding me. They had doors open and yelling from room to room. Was unpleasant experience overall. I checked out a day earlier than planned.

Horrible Experience
We were given a room that had an overpowering smell of bleach, ripped box spring and bathroom smelled of mold. The pictures are false!!!! Since I was unable to get my money back the solution presented was to move to a suite. We had to pay more money and was moved to a room that was no way a suite. The hall was musty and noise from adjoining rooms kept us awake all night

What a dump! We decided not to stay it was that bad. Outside entrance to the hotel room, it had evidence of being jarred open and didn’t shut right.

Loved the cafe. Warm and welcoming with great food. Window of room was right above where employees take a break outside. I could hear every word of every conversation and sometimes it was at 6 am. The hotel was fine, not great but the check in staff wasn’t welcoming. Didn’t mind the older vibe to the place. Water to refill bottles versus buying bottles water would be a minimum to be able to expect but this was not the case.

Elevator
My boyfriend and I got stuck in the elevator for 10 minutes. Couldn’t get the door to open. Told the front desk. She stated she would let her boss know but I don’t know if she did. We took the stairs the rest of our stay. No one acknowledged the situation after.

The hotel gives a sense of not being in a hotel. The area the Tahitian Inn is full of what you need most on short walking distance. Staff polite and professional although one front desk person needs experience on interaction skills. The restaurant attached is great for breakfast!
