I didn’t like the fact that the rooms had disgusting mold and not enough towels, there was also a dead bug and cockroach in our room. The pool wasn’t as cleaned on the bottom and the gym had missing pieces so we couldn’t use it. Very old fashioned very much needed for an upgrade the couch felt like there were bugs biting.

I stayed 3 nights at the hotel. While I had many options to choose from, I chose Tahitian Inn because I felt that the quality and the price were good. I chose the Deluxe Queen room because I liked the spaciousness and the look (from the online pics). When I first arrived to the property, walking in, everything looked nice. The receptionist wasn't friendly, smiling, or welcoming, she was just doing her job. The lobby was clean. The elevator was clean. Once I reached the second floor, which is where my room was located, the smell in the hallway wasn't so great. I feel they would do good to add some plug-ins or some sort of air fresheners in the hallways. I was very pleased however, when I walked into my room, to a pleasant clean smell. The decor was to my liking. Very inviting and comfortable. The only issue was that when I lifted the toilet seat, it seamed obvious that the seat had not been cleaned. The toilet bowl itself was clean but the seat was not. I also had a pleasant surprise when I opened the floor to ceiling shutters in my room. It had a balcony with chairs as well a beautiful view of the koi pond with the huge koi swimming around. I loved it! I had to be careful when leaving the room as I had to make sure to pull it through otherwise it would not close (I realized that only after returning to my room and my door being ajar). Overall, I did enjoy my stay. I do plan on staying there again in the future.

This was a good place for us, not fancy but well set up (fridge, microwave and coffee maker). I liked the quiet, comfortable feel of the inn. It was affordably and reasonably priced with a convenient location. There are several food places within walking distance, and we are in our sixties. The inn provided a relaxing atmosphere just off the hustle and bustle track. We would like to have stayed longer and gotten to enjoy the nice pool. If you are looking for a simple hotel that doesn't gouge you for things you don't need or want, consider Tahitian Inn. My only complaint is that the selections in the vending machine were dreadful! (HINT!) Plan on coming back for a vacation, when we can stay longer.

Staff was above and beyond any expectations in today’s travel industry for a hotel that is affordable. Everyone smiles. Even the housekeeper staff when encountered went out of their way to stop. Say hello. Ask if I needed anything and extend hospitality to the next level. Jose and Linda again were my points of contact but everyone was above expectations

Customer service off the charts. Every member of the staff I encountered, even off front desk, was happy, helpful, and to be honest; extremely more pleasant than any other hotel staff I’ve ever encountered. And I’ve been traveling on my own since 1996. Jose and Linda come to mind bc they were points of contact but all others were as amazing. I’m also in the service industry and there’s something about the little things that go a long way and I trust any guest that stays here will not be disappointed. It’s a staple of Tampa as well and this place has endured the “ cultural “ growth to remain consistent in the one thing that matters. Customer Service with a smile and every effort to always say yes!!!!
