I showed up after a long day of travel and first noticed that the pool was out of service and looked green and overflowing. In the room the bathroom looked to have mold and had a horrible smell which I assume because of the mold. The sink had food particles stuck in the drain and the tv looked to be out of the 90s with only 20 channels. Some of the staff was friendly but others had loud arguments that sounded somewhat concerning. The only thing good about the property was that there was a pub next door.

This property, in my view, is chronically underestimated or underrated by reviews due to bias in favor of form instead of substance. For its price/value ratio, it's absolutely nice, taking into account location, logistics, excellent little park surrounding the hotel and blocking all the noise. Everything is functional, and no bul..t that I have encountered so many times with most expensive hotels in Vancouver or Toronto.

There was only one plug to use which is not appropriate. There was also lack of light and no extra mirrors to use . Other then this everything was great .
