Awful Stay! Had a Hotels.com reservation for a nice queen room. Got there and they stuck us in a room right beside the elevator and with the ice machine right outside the door of the room! First night had to listen to every loud conversation people had waiting or walking away from the elevator and do you know it takes 5 buckets of ice to fill a cooler? We learned that at 7 in the morning. We asked for another room but was told this is all we have at the price you paid at hotels.com. Upgrade to get a decent night’s sleep. They even have posters inside the elevator offering free sleep kits, I guess they get regular complaints regardless of room. They later tried to tell us they were sold out but we knew better. Never staying at any Holiday Inn again and definitely complaining to Hotels.com.

Stayed here from Aug 2 to 5, 2024. Our first night, around 10pm, Aug 2, 2024, was disappointed that it wasn’t cleaned properly as requested days before arrival. Feeling itchy after 20 mins; then I saw the inside drawers weren’t cleaned and then we discovered the bottom area of the coat closet was even dirtier. No managers and no rooms to accommodate us so we had to sacrifice for one night. We had to clean the inside drawers ourselves on our first night. The next day, we approached the manager and then they did a proper cleaning. I had to ask for compensation and they were willing to take a bit off for the first night. After the thorough cleaning, the room was fresh, very clean and no itchy. (However, it has this musty odors in the washroom; must be from their cleaning cloths.. I wiped them (the counters, toilets and toilet door) with my disposable cloths and the odour went away) The pillows were not great but manageable. Next time I bring my own pillows. Overall it was good. I hope it won’t happen again and the room is always clean properly for any visitors. All the staff were friendly. Thank you for our accommodating us on our first night…
