"The hotel was kind of expensive, because I learned when I got there that UCLA was playing at the Rose Bowl stadium the next day..Note to self-may want to avoid Pasedena on those days! Still, the staff was so welcoming and unusually helpful and upbeat, even though we were meeting them at midnight to check in! The following morning, the gentleman who was tending to the breakfast buffet was similarly upbeat and helpful. I was really impressed! What nice kids. I think the front desk guy was named William, and the guy at the breakfast bar was Alex.Give those two a bonus! The room itself was nice because it has three beds, and that is rare. If you are traveling with two teenagers who are not super excited to share a bed, its a fabulous situation. "
