The hotel itself is lovely but the room was very dated. We had a half used toilet paper roll and the carpet felt sticky to walk on. We had to request more toilet paper and didn’t appreciate having a half roll used by other guests. The room just felt very used. We ate at the buffet it was ok but pricey. The parking was crazy high we paid 245 to park, more than the rental cost. The hotel may be a bit of a distance from The center strip but had a fantastic mall Attached by a walkway attached to it and a great beach within walking distance which was never crowded like Waikīkī Beach. We liked the location of the hotel and it was lovely. They have a car rental on site which we didn’t know and could have saved $$$ instead of renting at the airport for the week as we only used the car about half of our stay and used the trolley Staff was friendly and helpful We had a balcony room we never used the balcony and you could easily do without the up charge Thr Starbucks was convenient and there were a couple nice gift shops. Definately the biggest perk was the mall next door. 4 city blocks of stores and a great food court at your fingertips.

Check-in was very quick and smooth. This hotel only offers double beds-even if you ask for a king it’s not usually available, which is difficult for a 6’4”” member of our party. We’ve stayed here before and the bathrooms are starting to look a little worn. But the cleaning service was excellent-our room looked pristine all 5 days we were there. I love that there is a Starbucks in the lobby with great seating areas. It is walking distance to a wonderful beach and park and attached to the mall. I like that it’s away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki but close enough to access it if wanted.

What looked like pubic hair shavings on bathroom floor upon check in. Lots of em. Front Desk manager Polly was unwilling to do a room move or some kind of compensation. Not even an apology. When I asked why, she said because it’s her decision. SMH. Showed her coworkers and they were shocked and embarrassed by what happened

The hotel is okay. I would consider it for business travel but for a holiday there are many other nicer locations closer to walkable, fun areas (eg Waikiki). We encountered a bed bug in our room and immediately reported it to the manager. We wanted to check out and move to another hotel for our remaining two nights but the hotel would not refund as we booked through Expedia. They moved our room and cleaned our clothing which was appreciated, however not a satisfactory resolution. I’ve been awaiting a response from the manager and Expedia for over a week now on the status of the refund. Lesson learned regarding booking through third party sites.

I arrived late in the evening so there wasn't a line to check-in. The bellboy handling greeting and parking was pleasant and helpful. It was just an overnighter, so I didn't have time to use any amenities.
