Well managed hotel with class
It was clear that the hotel was well run. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Things were clean and tidy around the hotel and room. My only critique would be that we selected the room partly because it advertised having a kitchen as a room feature. I personally wouldn’t consider a microwave, toaster, coffee maker, and mini fridge to be equivalent to a “kitchen”. We were hoping to cook a meal or two in the room and that was not possible but that’s ok.

Down at the heels but not very expensive
Had to stay at a hotel while work was being done on our house. The p[roperty is a little down at the heels. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The TV was awful, the channel selection limited and the reception poor. The bathtub was clogged when we arrived and cloghged again when we left…clearly a problem with that bathroom. Garage attendant was excellent!

For long and boring reasons, i did not have time to research this hotel thoroughly before booking, so i wasn't sure what to expect. However, Le Cantlie was excellent in every respect. Great location, incredibly helpful service, and the room was large and comfortable. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Nice comfortable hotel.
Nice hotel with spacious rooms and in a nice location. Friendly staff. Room had sink and a couple of coffee makers (filter and Kreurig). Beds and linen were comfortable.
