You get what you pay for…. Staff was great, but the resort could double its staff very easily for the number of guests. This resort is strictly for family’s. Cheap generic food options, drinks are loaded with extra juice instead of alcohol (our 10-12 yr olds couldn’t tell the difference from our drinks to there’s) The resort is crowded compared to other resorts near by that we stay at.

The Melia all inclusive resort overall is a good resort. The food is very bland, the drinks are good but very little to no alcohol. The two main restaurants are very difficult for a family of five and six to get into before 8pm, unless you make reservations atleast 3-4 days in advance for each place. Staff is very friendly but seems lacking compared to the amount of guests staying at the resort. Restaurant service was very slow, food was ok. But takes more than an hour for a family of six to go through the process of a planned meal. Don’t expect to lounge and have a waiter stop by for drink orders very offten…. The rooms mattresses were very old, and rooms are outdated compared to other resorts we stayed at in Puerto Vallarta. We enjoyed the restaurants in the marina in the afternoons and evenings. The resort needs a lot more sun chairs for guests that don’t want to wake up by 6am or are just arriving and couldn’t save chairs near the pool, By 7:30am your only option is maybe a chair at the beach, pile belongings on the ground near the pool or get a taxi and go site seeing.

Excellent stay, from the reception staff to the servers and housekeepers all show pride in their work, room was excellent and grounds were good. Only negative was that guests would reserve loungers with their towels and despite signs to the contrary nothing was done about it, even is guests didn’t show up for 4-6 hours

We were welcomed at the Expedia check-in and were quite impressed by the facilities. The property is very well maintained and clean. It is walking distance from the Marina which was great. We had chosen a premium room to ensure we had a king bed (and not doubles) which was very spacious. We were also allowed top shelf alcohol which hubby likes and access to the one à la carte restaurant for breakfast. (on top of the buffet restaurant) It didn't seem overly busy and lounge chairs were always available. It only has 2 à la carte restaurants which is the only downfall; plus they have menu items that are an extra charge that they try to upsell us on - this was disappointing. Having a 3rd choice would be nice or a different menu on alternating night like other resorts with less à la carte restaurants. The one night, the Fish House servers went above and beyond so we went back the next night and it was just ok the 2nd so customer service at the restaurants was very good but it also depends on staff. All other staff like cleaning and bartenders were good. Overall it was worth the short 5 day trip out.

Melia was magnificent

We had the ocean view jr suite and it was amazing! Clean rooms, amazing staff, good food- and the childcare was the absolute best. Every day we were there my 6yr old daughter just wanted to go hang out with the ladies running all the activities! We felt safe and welcome throughout the entire facility, and the free nightly shows were always a hit with the family! this was the last of 3 places we stayed over 2 weeks and this was by far the best!!!

We have been there three times now, and are always sad to leave. The resort is very nice the people are so friendly and helpful. We met senor Javier the customer service manager I think. He was so incredibly helpful dealing with our room issue. The guy is a treasure indeed. He always was very interested in how we were enjoying our time there. We loved the room and the view we had of the ocean. The servers at the restaurants never seemed to have a bad day. I had some interactions with front desk ,Luisa was always smiling. The marina is a short walk away. We will definitely return only to stay longer

Amazing experience! Great service everywhere. Lots of activities, food, drinks. Exceptional service throughout and especially Guitron and Isreal in the pool bar, Mosies in Fish House restaurant. Other names I should mention here. Really highly recommended.

Staff were super friendly especially Alberto from guest services. Evening shows were great. Food was good! The beds in our room were a bit hard. They did offer us a different room but we didn't feel like moving and I don't know what beds were like in other rooms.

The proximity to the marina is fantastic. The hotel Itself is great for families. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. The property is safe and the food is good. The buffet is average at best - but the fish house is incredible! We’re a bit disappointed to see the food services downsized from the last time we were there in 2020. But I hope it’s short term given the past few years events. Overall it’s great and we will go back.

The resort is lovely, and the staff is awesome. Would have liked to have more than two restaurants and a heated pool. The shower is not a walk in but has a tub which makes it a little difficult for us older folks. The spa area was very unique and quite a delightful experience. They offer quite a lot of activities, archery, shooting, a mini golf, pool tables, game tables, tennis, kayaking. Great resort!

This facility could definitely use an update. The rooms are dated. The beds are not particularly comfortable, the Wi-Fi is abominable at best. The food and the staff, however are outstanding!
