This is a nice hotel with all inclusive choice, there are a few things I would change : More buffet choices or rotation of buffet choices not always the same Make one of the pools and adults only (the one with the fountain) Do not allow people to eat while inside the pool Have pool bartenders pick up cups left by people around the pools Have some one sweep around pool area Have better night entertainment Workers are very friendly and will help you with anything they can, they go out of their way to help you and make you feel well taken care off. Rooms are cleaned every day and at night a lady will come to ask if you need anything (tip her)

This property is great at what alot of hotels struggle with...genuine hospitality. Outstanding staff, service, and food. My only thing they lacking is a nice bar that guests can walk up to.

Velas was a great stay, from the beautiful gardens to the pools and beach area. The main characters are the staff, they all go out of their way to provide excellent service. Rodrigo at Andrea was superb and Edwin at the pool was very helpful.

Very disappointing stay, especially for the price. There is literally only one bar - and that is the swim up bar!! They try to say the lobby bar is a bar- it’s in a closet!! There is no actual bar on site where you can just listen to music and interact with other guests. The worst all-inclusive I have ever been to for entertainment factors (and food!). The first night was a Mexican celebration- horrible food in a convention type room with bright lights. I literally could only eat the rice and beans- and I really dislike rice and beans!!! Chicken was undercooked and red, all other food was just horrible. Except the churros- they were actually really good and wish I’d gotten more! With all the options in the area- they really need to step up the game! Room was good, had to resort to Netflix at night since they had no entertainment- so thankful for streaming services in the room, and room service!! Pool was nice, but they need an adults only pool!
