Quite far from the town, like 30 minutes drive. Nice mountain view, the room is spacious and clean. No staff onsite after hours but they were very helpful making sure we can get into our room. We arrived around 8:40 pm.

The hotel was extremely convenient location wise for the event I was attending. Room was comfortable, staff was friendly, & a very cute dog at reception! While there was a box to put in recyclable items, there was no bin for organic collection.

Silverstar revisited

We had a great ski week at Silverstar staying right in the centre in the village at the Vance Creek Hotel. We had a full kitchen and balcony. This was fantastic. One thing I did not realize was they do not have an elevator. This is not so bad but going up and down stairs not the easiest in ski boots. Otherwise was a great hotel and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Great location to see all the village happenings, yet quiet. The most beautiful sunrise overlooking the mountains, and lovely patio space to sit out and enjoy (also able to keep our mountain bikes there (safe).

Great setting but lousy parking for disabled travellers. I was told there would be handicapped parking right near the entrance, which there was, but it wasn't marked out clearly and often occupied by other guests. This resulted in a long walk on crutches from the main parking lot. I mentioned this twice to hotel staff bit nothing was done to solve the problem.
