Find a cheap Hotel in Hitch Village - Fred Wessels Homes

"My wife & I discussed it on the way home & can't find a reason we'd even want to try a different hotel. Great location for everything on River St, clean & comfortable rooms, all of the staff are friendly and helpful, the restaurant is nice & has a good selection. My only mild complaint is the valet fee since there is no option for self parking, but that's pretty normal for downtown locations for many of the cities we've visited. They also make it super convenient by giving you a number to text or QR code to scan to have them pull your car up, so it's waiting for you by the time you make it to the garage area. It never feels too busy, either. There was a golf tournament and a middle school cheerleading competition going on, but everything flows well & don't think we ever had to wait more than one minute for an elevator or having to dodge through crowds. We've been very happy with the past two visits and will definitely be back again soon!"

"I tried and tried to get a room at the River Street Inn all day a month ahead. It was worth checking over and over - I got the room of my choice at 3 that day after five times. It was well worth it - the hotel is delightful and in the middle of so much to do. The associated restaurants were so convenient when we checked in late. Staff was terrific. Walk in shower was fantastic. River view was mesmerizing. Valets were careful with our car. Location was perfect. Only criticism was that we did not have a desk to work on even tho there was room for one. I loved staying here. Thanks for a great experience. "

"Location, is perfect for going to the the river walk . Great for restaurants. My only complaint is the noise, Bay Street is loud with trucks and loud cars . Rooms are not very sound proof . Great location to get to trolleys and ghost tours . "

"What I didn't like was not having immediate access to our car. Parking was $50/night tip every time they brought it or took it back. Im a county girl and not used to NY Parking conditions here in the good ole south."
