Wrong advertisement and insulting service
I want to report my issue at this hotel and get it straight. Room I booked for two nights on hotels.com. And on the webpage it showed detail as “1queen bed and 1 twin bed with sofa bed, and multiple beds(with kitchen)”. I thought there will be at least 2 beds and kitchen like it said on hotels.com website. I drove 7 hours from Calgary with my family and was quite tired when I check in. And problem happens. There was a lady in the front desk. I told her my name and informations to check and she told me the room I booked has only one bed and it is small for 4 people. The I showed her hotels.com home page that show “1queen bed and 1 twin bed with sofa bed, and multiple beds(with kitchen)”. What the hotel say and what homepage show were different fault. I explained that is not my fault and you and hotels.com need get it straight. And I she kept on telling me that I there is only one bed and she is not giving me free upgrade. I did not ask her for “free upgrade” at first. I asked what ever with 2 beds and kitchen will be okay to me. And she offered me two beds without kitchen which is cheaper room and keep telling me she will not give me free upgrade. I was feeling so bad about her making me feel like I am begging for free upgrade. I felt insulted with paying my money. I asked her for manager’s number I can talk to but she refused to give me a number. she was also getting loud too. She ended up giving us other room, wasn’t even upgrade and had to see her uncomfortably everyday
