We stayed in one of the Bungalow units. It was very nice and spacious and well kept. The only issue, for which the operators have little control, is the neighbors and their choice to be quiet or not. The ground floor bungalows are 4 units side by side and there are two upper units - so you have multiple choices for bad neighbors. Most of the time they cooperate, but when they don't it gets noisy in the adjoining units since there is little sound protection. We had those a night or two during our week long stay - but the rest of the time things were fine.

I Liked the atmosphere and laid back way everything and everyone flows. For people not used to Hawaii humidity… the room can have a distinct smell most older buildings have in Hawaii. The room I had was a bit dated and simple but very comfortable, the hygiene items they provide smell good and are plentiful, towels/ linens clean. The toilet seat needed cleaning and the shower drained slow as can be the case in Hawaii. We had a nice view and the little patio lent to a nice night time listening to the live music float up to us from the dining area. Every place is short staffed, but the employees really show they care and are as assistive as they can be.

It is one of the most relaxing places we love to go And visit. They have updated everything and it is so beautiful. The staff is kind, respectful and help get you whatever you need. Brought back the breakfast buffet and it is so good. We have stayed 3 times and will stay again.

We had an amazing time at the Royal Lahaina. The staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed in a bungalow that was clean and quiet and the grounds couldn’t have been more pristine. Truly a special place on the most beautiful beach!

Our bungalow was great and people at the bar area were great too. However some workers at the front and pool area not so much, they also shut down the outer pool and bar which was one reason we got a bungalow next to it.They also don’t provide microwaves at all anymore and be ready for a $35 a day parking fee and a $40 a day hotel fee plus tax!

Stayed in ocean front bungalow and it was great! Only issue is the ceilings are paper thin. Can hear people walking upstairs amd thought they were elephants. Everything else was awesome!!

The view from our hotel room was great, you could see the mountains on one side and the beach on the other side. The hotel restaurant was delicious, we enjoyed everything we ate. The beach is easily accessible and you can rent snorkel gear, umbrellas, and etc. from the hotel. There are also 2 pools on the property. The hotel was only a few minutes from Whalers Village and 15 minutes from Napili Bay and Kapalua Beach. The parking was easy and you also have access to the Kaanapli trolley. The staff was very kinda and helpful.
