A real gen of a location in Kaanapali. Amazing access to one of the easiest beaches for swimming on Maui. The property facilities have been nicely maintained and upscaled for a nice authentic Maui experience. The views are amazing and the staff and service were great!

Modern and Well Kept!
Modern, clean, well kept. Great ocean views. Free sunscreen. Coffee shop/ice cream parlor was very good! Suggest this for breakfast. Lots of pool lounge chairs available. Good bar drinks. Nice cold A/C that gets to 65°. Full size shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion in the rooms. Loved the nightly live music from 6pm-9pm by the tree. Massage at the spa was nice but books up fast so book right away when you get there. Things to note: the shower leaked some under the caulk basin into the bathroom. The room has minimal tabletop space to set items on, fridge is in the bathroom, can't turn off the patio light, ocean current is very strong and has a steep drop off not far out. Not a calm relaxing swim in the ocean. Breakfast buffet is almost $40 and basically a continental breakfast you'd get for free at the holiday inn. Needs improvement. No lounge chairs on the beach, only can use towels. No shade on the beach. Overall great stay and very relaxing and quite. I'd recommend!

I stayed at the oceanfront bungalow for one night, expecting a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, my stay was far from ideal due to several inconveniences: At night, the smoke detector in my room started beeping, likely due to a low battery. This disrupted my sleep and made for an unpleasant night. The room was advertised as soundproof ( according to expedia) , but I could clearly hear my neighbors coughing and their phone ringing, which impacted my privacy and peace. Small ants were crawling on the kitchen counter and table, which was unhygienic and unexpected for the price and quality promised. The WiFi was unreliable and kept dropping, making it nearly impossible to connect. I raised these concerns in a complaint letter before checking out, and I received a reply advising me to speak with the front desk manager. However, the manager I spoke with was unfriendly and dismissive (unfortunately, I didn’t get her name). She insisted that the hotel website didn’t claim the rooms were soundproof and said she would inform Expedia to remove that claim, but this didn’t address the unbearable noise I experienced. As a compensation, she waived the resort fee and parking fee totaling $83, the interaction left a poor impression. I rarely leave reviews, and this is my first time leaving a negative one. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and works to address these issues, as the location and potential of the property are great, but the experience was disappoint

RL was a beautiful resort and we loved our spacious, clean room with views of the Golf Course and out to Lanai. The location was lovely and quiet and you could walk around the golf course as well as straight on to the beach. The breakfast buffet was awesome and the restaurant location was amazing with views out to the islands. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to returning. Normally it would be too expensive for us to stay here but we booked with a special package deal that included breakfast and the Luau which was a great value.
