Experience a deluxe cottage getaway with million-dollar views of Lake Osoyoos.
Ready for an unforgettable lake vacation filled with peaceful moments and premium features? Check your family into our picture-perfect cottage with Million Dollar Views on Osoyoos Lake. This brilliantly curated home has an intuitive layout, accommodating up to 9 guests who will never want to leave its grounds.
Neighborhood:
Our #177 cottage is located in a gated lakeside community: The Cottages on Osoyoos Lake. This is a year-round vacation destination, where people from all over come to enjoy sun, boating, biking, skiing, wine tours, and much more. While here, take advantage of the on-site gym, Clubhouse, pool and jacuzzi, lake beach area, grills and campfires, picnic spaces, and community center.
You might be captivated by all there is to do at The Cottages, but if you want to venture out, you have many entertainment and lake options. The town of Osoyoos is incredibly scenic and geographically diverse; there are nearby mountains, desert landscapes, and wineries. Fishing is a popular pass-time on the lake, as well as wakeboarding and pontooning with Osoyoos Marine Rentals.
Osoyoos is considered Wine Country, so there are a plethora of choices for vineyard tours and wine tastings. A couple fan-favorites include Nk’Mip Cellars and Moon Curser Vineyards. We personally love Silver Sage Winery – it simply has some of the best wine in Okanagan.
Want to learn more about the surrounding natural ecosystem? Visit the trails or exhibits of the Nk’Mip Desert Cultural Centre or Osoyoos Desert Center. You can also dive into local aboriginal heritage at the Osoyoos Museum.
If you’re down for some leisure activities and outdoor adventures, you’re in luck. Enjoy the breathtaking 18 hole courses at Osoyoos Golf Club, or get your adrenaline pumping at Rattlesnake Canyon, an amusement park kids love.
Access:
The cottage is located within a gated community. Our property is accessed with a keyless code entry and is uniquely provided for your stay.
Living Spaces
Families sharing our two-level cottage will love convening in the large main living room every morning for coffee, reading, or chatting. Watch the sunrise over the lake from the living room’s wall-to-wall windows that climb 10 feet up towards the vaulted ceilings.
If you need a little “me-time” alone or as a couple, set your kids up on the living room Playstation while you relax in the downstairs sitting room. Bonus points if you mix up some cocktails at the downstairs bar for a date night after your kids are asleep.
Kitchen & Dining
No matter what meal of the day you’re looking to enjoy with family, our bright open-concept kitchen is ready to go. Equipped with stainless steel appliances and stunningly modern decor, you might think Martha Stewart couldn’t have designed it better herself.
Brew a fresh pot of coffee in the morning and start your day sipping at the spacious kitchen island. It won’t take long to wake up, as the sun pours through the wall of windows in the living room.
After a full day of volleyball on the beach, boating on Osoyoos, or swimming in the Clubhouse pool, coming home for dinner will be an event in itself.
Whether you grab takeout or make a home-cooked meal in our well-stocked kitchen, gather around the hardwood dining room table as the scenic sunset sets the room aglow like candlelight.
Bedrooms & Baths
Is it time to put the kids to bed yet? Good news: this serene cottage in a quiet neighborhood offers loads of space to spread out, providing you and your kids (and even a second family) plenty of privacy.
Claim your favorite bedroom – there’s one primary suite with a king sized bed and walk-in closet on the main floor, and one identical primary suite on the lower level.
Your little ones can divvy up the other two bedrooms – one is on the main floor with a twin bunk bed, and the other is on the lower level with a twin and double bunk bed.
Washing off all that sand and lake water in complete comfort won’t be an issue either. This deluxe cottage was made for people who hate sharing a bathroom with the whole house!
In fact, there is one bathroom for every bedroom – two on the main floor, two on the lower level. Step into the spacious glass stall shower and feel totally at ease under the warm water.
Outdoor Amenities
People love this cottage for so many reasons. It’s spacious, artfully designed, functional, and bright. There’s also a complementary bike rack, private boat slip, and pool floaties.
But one distinct feature never fails to steal the hearts of our guests: million-dollar views of Lake Osoyoos and the mountains. Because of our prime location and outdoor patio spaces, we have the best views in the cottage complex.
Sliding glass doors in the main floor living area lead you to the upper outdoor patio, where you can admire the vista. And the lower outdoor patio is where much of the magic happens. Mid-afternoon, take a snooze in the hammock, cook something up on the BBQ grill, or read your favorite book on the comfy couch.
And when the stars and moon come out at night, climb into the private hot tub, illuminated by the glow of string lights overhead. With the silhouette of the lake and mountains as the backdrop, it’s the kind of magical moment your family won’t soon forget.
