Great stay. I lived in Victoria for 25 years and drove past the Motel 6 often. I actually thought it was an old run down hotel. I was pleasantly surprised and it was so much affordable than any and all of the other hotels in the entire Greater Victoria. There is a coffee machine and mini fridge in the room. It’s pet friendly with a huge back yard complete with dog bags. There is a white spot right beside the motel, McDonalds right across the highway where there is also a walking ramp to cross the highway. There is also a pub (Waddling Dog) that has great food and a beer and wine store. Clean, quiet and safe. We will be back.

Good location
comfortable bed,clean. The door to the room needs to be upgraded,very difficult to open.Not having a lot of physical strength,I could not open the door myself, fortunately ,my husband was with me all the time,but he struggled to open that door. Got very annoying. A desk or separate table would be good to have for the laptop etc. Next time will choose a different room.

I would never stay here again. The floor of my room was filthy, and despite bringing this to the attention of the staff and their assurance that it would be taken care of, it was not. Parts of the shower were caked in black mould, which was the last straw. I left early and thankfully received a reimbursement for the night I did not stay there. Awful experience altogether.

This property is a nice option for those who are going to Butchart gardens and dont want to stay in Victoria. Though it was not cheap as it was booked last minute it was still a viable option. Recently renovated in the Ikea school of design the rooms are clean...well maintained if not soundproof.
