The best pub on the Island is attached to the hotel! Lots to do close-by, even though it might not seem like it on a map.

Bar is dated but works, given there is very little else around, (I.E. you’re at one corner of a major highway between a ferry terminal and a big city). Smoking takes place outside 1st floor rooms which was oddly placed, requiring the one window that unwinds to outside be closed. The toilet is situated in such a way that the bathroom door is against the leading porcelain edge (if not closed). Bar could use a freshening, and the structure as a whole will need ongoing upkeep to keep it at a level where people will stay. Given hard work and continued attention I would stay again.

Highly recommended The Waddling Dog, lovely place, awesome staff, great proximity of you're going to Butchard Gardens ~ and, and, the Waddling Dog Pub, attached, has amazing food ~ the fish n' chips was better than that in London, England !

we chose this Inn because it was close to the ferry terminal, but were surprised with how nice it actually was. super cute and welcoming Inn. we were travelling with many suitcases so it was nice to have an elevator. the room we got looked remodelled, and everything just looked clean and well-maintained. the complimentary breakfast was a lovely bonus, and the food was pretty delicious. all in all, a lovely stay. we only stayed one night and were regretting not staying for longer.
