Beautiful 3 bedroom home with A/C and gated!

Come and visit paradise in our beautifully furnished comfortable beach home! The small and private community is gated and conveniently located less than half a block from the beach! Our home is also in the middle of it all - walking distance to many places like ralphs(grocery store), cafe's, restaurants and shopping. There are three bedrooms located upstairs: the master has a king bed and full bathroom, the second bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has 2 twin beds and there is an additional full bathroom upstairs. Downstairs you will find an open floor plan that is perfect for entertaining! A newly updated and fully stocked kitchen, dining room, family room, laundry room and half bath. Guests will have access to many convenient amenities such as - beach cruisers, surf boards, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, air conditioning, washer/dryer, free wifi, free cable TV and free parking (for 2 vehicles), iron and board, blowdryer, etc. For those traveling with children, there is a high chair and pack n play as well. We also pay attention to the details and include detergents, cleaning supplies, basic cooking supplies, trash bags, soap, shampoo, etc. There are two private garage parking spots. We just ask if you use something completely to let us know if efforts to keep the place stocked for our next guest.

Beachy Family Home Base
This property served as an excellent place to stay for our family gathered to participate in a local sports event. The primary compliments were location, location, location with a short walk to groceries, restaurants and beach. Highly recommend this very clean and updated 3 bedroom home with a very service-oriented and personable host.

Family Reunion
We were one of 3 houses for our Family reunion. This house was quiet, clean and comfortable. We could walk or bike everywhere. Activities for the reunion included bonfires at ski beach(bike) , padres game (Uber), La Jolla beach day/ kayak and hike (bike) kites at beach( walk) dinner and ice cream various walkable locations. Sea World (bike/Uber) , Catamaran Luau(walk). Long morning bike rides on uncrowned paths at sunrise 10-20 miles. Libby was a great host. She even replaced the mattress and n Queen bedroom during our stay. Would definitely rent again. Just bring yourself and clothes. Everything else is there. Grocery store a few feet from your front door.

This property was in the perfect spot! Walking distance to the beach and tons of restaurants. The host made it very easy to check in and responded quickly to all of our questions. The home had a nice layout and plenty of space for 7 people! Thank you for letting us stay here.

Beware - Host cancelled at the last second!
Host cancelled this property late at night merely hours before my family and friends were flying in from across the country, leaving us scrambling to find alternate arrangements and causing an extremely stressful start to what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. She blamed this on some sort of technology issue causing double-booking, but I noted that she had personally confirmed our stay several months before so there is no excuse for not knowing we would be there. This seems to be a pattern with this property, so renters beware, this will happen to you again until this host figures out a better system or stops allowing auto-approval of requests. Avoid this property or take on this risk!

Don't rent this place!
The host canceled our booking the morning we arrived in San Diego. We had to spend almost 4 hours trying to get a hold of VRBO and find a place for the 6 of us. When there's a family of 6, you want a house, not 3 hotel rooms which we had to do.

Host cancelled our reservation a few hours before we were supposed to check in. My husband, kids and I were left stranded with no place to stay. Host said that she had double booked. Had to spend half of our first day of vacation looking for a new place to stay. Overall, terrible experience!

Just a short walk to the beach
We stayed here for 4 nights. The location was great - just a short walk to the beach and restaurants. However, it isn't very scenic - you are right in the middle of a bunch of apartments, so no scenic views. It had a two car garage that fit our minivan which was very convenient. We parked and walked everywhere. My biggest complaint with the property was that it said that it was sleeping for 6 adults. However, the twin beds in our sons' room were too small for adults and the beds were extremely uncomfortable. They were supposed to be twin beds that could be put together for a king bed which was absolutely not the case. These beds are only good for children, not two 18 year old boys. That really put a damper on the stay as the boys were extremely uncomfortable the entire stay. This made us upset as we paid extra to have the third bedroom for the boys. So be warned this is only sleeping for 4 adults and 2 children not 6 adults!!!! The master suite bed was very comfortable. There was a nice laundry which made it great for watching towels every day. The kitchen was well stocked. The dishwasher needs to have the rolling wheels fixed. The bathrooms were great. We just didn't like that the bath mat in the master bathroom looked like it had not been washed in a while. Overall, aside from the bed situation, we were very satisfied with our stay. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the beds were not as advertised and it wasn't in a scenic location.

Pacific Beach Rental
The VRBO was great and close to the ocean. No issues except the floor was not very clean and would make the bottoms of your feet dirty. Overall a great experience and location for a get-a-way weekend.

Nice place in convenient location.
Libby's place is in a great, quiet location close to the boardwalk and the grocery store. It was plenty of space for 4 adults and 3 kids between the ages of 2 and 4. Libby's place was well equipped for families with small kids. Lots of beach toys, baby bath, toddler bed rail, etc. It was nice not to have to worry about packing that stuff. My only complaint was getting notified within 3 hours of arriving that there had been a double booking for our first night and we were sent somewhere else that first night. Libby did find us a nice place to compensate, which I am grateful for. But, it was very frustrating to find out a few hours out of San Diego that there was a hiccup when we had booked her place 2 months in advance.

Perfect location, great for families!
We had a few “hiccups” during the stay, but Libby was readily available and addressed everything quickly. We very much enjoyed this condo. Fully stocked, perfect location, quiet (when windows are closed) for sleeping. Having all the beach and play equipment here was perfect and took the hassle out of having to pack anything except clothes & necessities! We would definitely book with this host again!

Nice spacious unit that is thoughtfully prepared. Location right in the middle of the action in Pacific Beach, with gated access to the community makes it a great and safe spot for hitting the beach and barhopping.
