Amazing place if you enjoy a very minimalistic experience and prefer location within the city over large spaces and amenities. This was more than enough for my girlfriend and I to stay in for a concert and cafe hopping. The code based locks are very easy to use. I would not recommend this to people who need privacy from each other as the bathroom and shower are visible from the bed (if you are sharing the bed you probably don't care) There is lots of privacy from other units (we never even saw another person) but no privacy in the room itself. Very clean, very good appliances. Would stay here again.
After reservation was contacted by Sonder
DEmanded photo ID (THey had Photo ID on filefrom previous stay-So 15 minutes later I was checked ing)
Was told check-in instructions would arrive 3 days before stay. They did.
They also arrived 1 day before stayby text
I could not log-in using google credentials
Called reservations
Was told text I received from wrong phone number and to ignore
Got to propert (neighborhood nice) Logged in. OOPs log-in didn;'t work. 15 minutes later contacted customer service.
They demanded I verify who I was (seemsreasonable) but wouldn't send me text.
Wanted me to furnish confirmation number ( I didn't have it)
15 minutes later (I couldn't get e-mails, I was in Canada) they decided I was me.
My room number changed and my access code changed.
I got into building and climbed 3 flights of stairs to floor 4.
elevator is availble through ice cream shop-on first floor (closed when I arrived)
Log in worked
Got to room and it is size of Kingsize mattress.
Queen size bed inside so had 1 foot on each side of bed
Bathroom similarly small (not even room for sink)
Bathroom fan didn't work
Toilet overflowed 3rd day.
Do not recommend
The Beverley is a great place to stay if you’re in Toronto. 10-15 minutes walk to any major site(Rogers centre, CN tower etc..). Space is on the smaller side but it the perfect size for two people. Located in a great area, and staff are very responsive if you have any questions. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This hotel is a great place to stay if you’re with one other person and only need a bed for a night or two! It’s very small and AC makes an extremely loud noise every other hour. The security felt okay but it is on a very busy street.

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
Poor sleep quality and spaciousness
There was air conditioning but when it was ON, it would make a loud chainsaw-like noise every 30 minutes so we constantly woke up during the night. Eventually had to turn it off and just suffer through the heat. The toilet also made a sewage noise every hour which woke us up during the night. The room was extremely tiny , so it was fine for one night but if someone came with a luggage bag it would not have fit in the room.
Great spot for a short stay! The room is tiny but we were out most of the time and only there to sleep - well worth the price. Great local, easy access, clean.
I really liked my first time in a Sonder property. Even though you basically just serve yourself, the place was very clean and it was easy to get in with their app. The room was excellent and I had a great view of Queen and Beverley St. I’ll definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

Could not check in - platform didn’t work, then power failure at facility
Humidity in the room even if there was air conditioning so the AC wasn’t working properly. Room size was deceiving compared to the pics shown on the app.
Bed was so uncomfortable. Bathroom floor was dirty. Very small room not meant for two people. I would not go back.
The stairs are quite steep to go up to the higher level floors.
The A/C unit makes quite a bit of noise when on for a prolongeed period of time - though only periodically.
The shower tile does get very slippery during showers.
The staff are incredible through the chat! We had a small appliance issue that was able to fixed. The appliance closet and luggage storage was in a great spot.
The neighboorhood was not loud through the night, and a LCBO, Shoppers Drug mart and Starbucks are close by for convience. As well as some small businesses that should be checked out.
Would definitely recommend for smaller trips or for couples!
