Super friendly and helpful staff (and you're actually communicating, in text conversations, with the person who's there to greet at the reception when you arrive!), and very quiet, very cozy. Tres cool lounge. Great location in the city - easy to get to the subway.

Not your average hotel. Looks unassuming from the outside but it was clean and stylish inside. They have old school turn tables in the room which was cool. Staff is very friendly.

Area around was a little messy and run down but that is to no fault on the annex. The annex itself was perfect for me and my wife's stay. Perfect decor and vibe.

I found that the room was quite nice and comfortable. I would have preferred to have a coffee maker in the room over the turntable. The staff were responsive to text but this hands off in terms of approach. You are given a code to the front door and a code to the room. Someone next to me had left their dog in the room so I woke up in the morning to a loud whining dog for more than an hour. Staff responded but the people had left the hotel. Over all good for the price and location.
