Beach Themed Family Condo (Sleeps 7) At Lake Windermere Pointe In Invermere

COVID-19 Update: As of July 1st, 2021 the hot tubs, swimming pool, and fitness centre at Lake Windermere Pointe are OPEN. The pool and hot tub areas are fully open with no extra measures (pre-booking or limit on numbers). The fitness centre is open with limited persons using at one time. Our unit is being cleaned with extra disinfecting measures taken on all high touch surfaces. This does not include shared spaces including elevator, stairs, hallways, exterior doors. Recommended to bring hand sanitizer/disinfectant for use in elevators/doors/common areas in condo building and public spaces.

This 'Beach Themed' Family-friendly Condo is sure to help you relax and enjoy your vacation. Corner unit allows north view of mountain valley, and west view with lots windows for natural light.
This two bedroom condo sleeps 6-7. The Queen Size bedroom is a quiet oasis for one or two with a queen-sized bed (sleeps 2) and closet, the full bathroom is right outside the bedroom door. The large (master) bedroom has a sitting area, private balcony, walk thru closet and attached full bathroom. Up to 5 can sleep comfortably in this room on a double daybed (sleeps 1-2), and twin bunk beds (sleeps 2) and a twin pull-out sofa bed/cot (sleeps 1). Even with all these beds there is still lots of room to relax and play, your children will enjoy discovering the books and toys available for them (including a Wooden Train set; Tinker Toys; and assorted cars and miscellaneous toys).
Once you leave the condo, it is only a short 3-5 minute walk to access James Chabot Provincial Park, which boasts a climbing structure and sandy beach.
The condo complex also boasts an outdoor heated pool, and two hot tubs/whirlpools and beach lounge chairs for your relaxation (in the off season the pool is closed and only one outdoor hot tub is available). Clubhouse with fitness room and showers/lockers is also available for your enjoyment.
Features include: 32' Flat-Screen TV, Blu-Ray & DVD Player, Family Movie Collection, Reading Library, Children's Toys, Playpen and Booster Chair for your little ones. The dining table seats 6, with an expandable table. There are two balconies complete with patio furniture and a small BBQ.
Fully stocked kitchen has all the required appliances, as well as a Ninja Blender to make smoothies and other drinks, automatic coffee maker, electric kettle, stoneware dishes, pots, pans. All you need to bring is your own food!
At the beginning of the season we will stock the kitchen with all the necessary pantry items, including but not limited to tinfoil, plastic wrap, oil, salt, sugar, seasonings and condiments. These will not be refilled after each guest, but typically do not run out over the course of the summer.
From the condo you can either walk or drive into downtown Invermere to enjoy more shopping, restaurants, cinema, Farmers Market on Saturday, the Kinsmen Beach (has playground, floating docks, slides and concession)

Great two bedroom unit close to James Chabot beach.
Great 6 night stay in Invermere. We’ve stayed in these condos plenty of times and always enjoy our stay. This was our first time in this particular unit, but have stayed in the Armstrong building before. It’s a short walk to the beach, and a short walk or drive to Sobeys for groceries. Exactly as advertised.

Stayed here for a three day family vacation during July. We chose to stay here as we had previously rented in this complex and loved the proximity to the lake and the community pool access. Our stay at this unit was ok, but overall would not recommend this unit but suggest checking out others. The Pro’s: Check in was simple, key code access was nice. Location is nice as it’s close to the beach and the community pool is great for the kids. High chair in the unit was big plus and the kids toys were nice. The kitchen has spices and lots of cooking bowls/utensils, however no coffee provided. The unit has good AC. The Con’s: The oven was unusable, started severely smoking when we were preheating it for dinner the first night. We quickly found out the fan above the stove also doesn’t work. Second night, found the BBQ to be very dirty and all the knobs are broken making it nearly impossible to use properly. We ended up ordering dinner short notice each night (not a fun experience with hungry kids) due the oven and bbq being practically unusable. The photos are also outdated, the bbq is not the one in the listed photos. The view is pretty bad compared to the majority of other units in this complex - faces a busy train track and highway. The train comes by multiple times a day and night The main bed in the master is a day bed not a full bed, not suitable for a couple or taller person. The host was challenging to reach, waited 12+ hours for a response.

Home away from home
Beautiful clean condo with everything you need for your stay. Having things like, soap, lotion and even salt a pepper is always so handy in a VRBO. The host was responsive and provided all the info we needed with the welcome email. Would Definitely rent again

We had a great stay! The place was very clean, and maintained well. It has everything you need for a great trip, the only this is bring coffee, we forgot ours and there was none. Lol Also you have access to a BBQ but it doesn’t work well, it doesn’t really go any higher than 300 degrees so be sure you allow time for a slower cook. Lastly the bed in the kids room is a Twin or double bed turned horizontal with a head board on the side of the bed. This is ok for small children but not for anyone 4.5 ft or taller. Otherwise, it was great and we would definitely stay there again.

Great family stay!
This is our second time staying in this condo. Loved the amount of space. The location to the beach and the use of the pool. The building itself has some wear and tear that happen as buildings age. There was confusion with signage whether we could use the elevator or not. Within the unit-my kids were VERY excited to use the bunk beds but the guard rail was not secured and leaning on the edge which had me worried that it would fall down and hurt someone would get hurt. The deck off the living room screen door was broken so couldn’t close. Would have liked to have the door open and use the screen. Overall wonderful place for family getaway.

Young family of 4, we were very impressed with the space. The kids loved the train room & ran to the balcony to see “Thomas.” We enjoyed reading the Thomas books at night. Our days were spent between the lake & pool. Everyone slept well at night! Thanks & I hope you’ll have us again.

the elevator did not work for 3 days my sister has mobility disabilities. swimming pool not working entire stay.. apartment door lock did not lock several times. The train going right past our balconies at least 3 x a night.30 meters should have been made aware of this..

The property is close to the beach and also very walkable but it is way to close to the highway and so it is very noisy and you can hear the train go by and if you are a light sleeper it is very noisy.

Walking distance to downtown
This building is on the edge of town, 10 minute walk to mainstreet. It is also about a 5 minute walk down to the water on Cabot beach ( the smaller beach in town, the bigger beach, Kinsmen, is about a 10 minute drive away) The units main area was roomy enough for all of us to relax in the evening. We appreciated having Netflix available as well as a big enough table to play cards. I also appreciated having tiled and vinyl flooring throughout the unit. The bathrooms were clean and spacious, as was the laundry room. There was an ample supply of towels, paper, garbage bags, laundry soap. The setup would be perfect for a family with young children and parents who don’t mind sleeping in a smaller room ( no dresser or drawers) without an ensuite, as the master bedroom is converted into a kids room. There is also a pool and two hot tubs ( the heaters in the hot tubs were broken, so they were also cold pools) It was 36 degrees when we were there, so the hot tubs weren’t missed. It’s worth a mention that the pool area is heavily populated with children, so again, ideal unit for families with little kids. I held back a star because the listing doesn’t mention the proximity to both the main road (balcony is 10 feet away from the bridge that flows traffic into and out of both Panorama and Invermere. ) and the master bedroom that is converted to a kids room is about 40 feet from the train tracks. It was very noisy with the train running all hours of the night. We could not open any of the windows due to noise level. There are a few pictures of the buildings, but it would be a good idea to add pictures taken from the balconies as well, and to put a mention of the location of the building in the listing. (furthest from the beach, on the bridge and the train tracks)

Great stay to explore Canadian Rocky Mtns!
The property was exceptionally clean and well stocked. Location was convenient to downtown and nearby eateries. Each of the condo's building has its own underground parking and felt secure. Keep in mind that you wouldn't be able to use underground underground with a top box/top-mount-bike-rack on top of car. It was easy to communicate w/ Crystal, very responsive.
