Great location for Downtown Town interests, harbour views, short walks. Minutes to both ferries. Staff helpful and pleasant. No breakfast included but nice enough eateries. Would have liked glasses in suite as well as plastic. Parking could be more. Would love to stay again.

The facility was conveniently located and walkable distance to points of interest in Nanaimo with a beautiful view of the harbor. The staff was very helpful. The cleanliness was outstanding. The laundry facilities were much appreciated and rather rare in a hotel accommodation. Overall, we would not hesitate to return to this hotel.

For the most part good. I would return. But I came early and checked my bags. Room was not ready and that’s ok. I was told they would call me when the room was ready. Should have been at 4 I did not get a call. So I showed up at 5:15 and the room was ready. I asked why they didn’t call. They were puzzled then said I guess your room wasn’t ready. Then in the lounge we ordered boneless wings. There was a dead ant on the carrots. That turned us off enough to not eat there the entire time. Good walking distances for other places. I might add, it was nice for management to take care of our food bill. I suggest a microwave in the rooms. But overall good and I would return.

When we arrived room was cold. The heater did not work. They tried a second room on same floor. No heating. We were moved to the second floor. Room was good. No issues.

At check in we were asked if we wanted an upgrade to an “executive suite.” The person at reception painted a great picture of it. Do not upgrade here! My wife and I found ourselves in a disjointed old room with a hallway and an old bathroom and cold sitting room with a pull out couch and separate bedroom at other end. Floors are uneven and it smelled musty. Not cozy at all maybe a good option for a small family . We have had good experiences here before so this was terribly disappointing.
